**NEW** Updates On Our Site "National Nevada" Gold Mining Town.....

National may have been the most productive gold mining town in the state of Nevada. While today so very little of it remains which just shocks me even while exploring its beautiful canyon not many folks know about this place let alone visit it. All that remains of this large canyon city is a set of stone ruins, piles of wood, ore bin chutes and a few rusty remnants. This could be due to the fact that some of the worst weather in Nevada plows through the Santa Rosa Mountains and that three mile creek is like a river for half of the year.

This town had it all blacksmith, assay office, stage lines, post office, stores, saloons, mines, mills, hotel, dentist, doctors etc and it was discovered by two men via automobile in 1907 for the National Car Company who introduced automobile prospecting. They found gold filed claims and people just poured on into the canyon. So it is not an early pioneer ghost town but it was as boisterous, rowdy and lawless just like any town of the west.

My first expedition occurred here back in 2016 my last one occurred two weeks ago here in 2018 so you will get photos from both expeditions and videos. I will go here a final time probably in September after the Spring thaw and it dries up because the canyon has multiple dirt roads which are steep, muddy and snowy so I did not access everything here. I probably seen about 70 percent of National Canyon but two roads were in poor condition so I could not find everything if anything even exist and from the town site where downtown stood nothing stands but a bunch of foliage today.

No less this is a town that should be in the history books this camp produced 8 million if not more in gold in just a few years. But mines became exhausted and in WWI everyone left mass exodus. By the 1960's only a few structures stood and today there hardly is anything. Its a rugged canyon that follows this raging creek and most of the year its not an easy canyon to explore because of the heavy snowfall then the months it takes for it to all melt. But our second expedition got me at least five to six miles deeper in the canyon and even though it was all under snow it was a beautiful trip.

Its sad that this place does not get the attention it deserves the main mineral in Nevada is Silver but gold was mined or came second here. In this case gold was first when it came to National and it was a true all American town that simply only lasted a few years. I worked hard to do research on this location and to bring you guys this adventure so I truly hope you will value that. The work that I do comes from the heart and soul I am not like other folks who have motives my only goal is to educate and bring these great places right to you. If you loved Paradise Valley you will love this addition since Paradise Valley is the other ghost town which resides on the east side of the Santa Rosa Mountains just miles away.

__________________________________________________________

This is a solid addition on our site its not always about the paranormal what we do sometimes its just about history and giving some people some locations they can enjoy. I would have added this last night but I dozed off lately I been so tired I guess I just been so busy lately I have not had much rest besides being sick for two weeks which knocked me on my ass. Then other times I am on the road exploring which also can take a few days up here and there of my time so it can be hard to keep up on things unfortunately being that I run the show.

The nice thing about this expedition is you get to see some recent work of mine since most of what I been adding dates back to 2016 since I am behind on the site adding cases and adventures. Do not get me wrong eventually ill add all my expeditions from this past year we have so much stuff coming to our viewers its limitless you will be pretty much in awe.

I want to return a third time here I mean in warmer months flowers grow here, things are green, butterflies and lots of wildlife. Problem is I been here early spring which was flooded and winter which was in the middle of a nasty snowstorm that I had to navigate through without trying to get stuck up here. Its risky is all I am saying but a fine ghost town and our viewers have allot of content to see.

The next updates coming out on our site will be from my adventures up near Santa Cruz California. I have some nice investigations and explorations we did. So the next location will be the Henry Cowell Redwoods and Historic Train Yard. This will be an awesome addition as its something different for a change then the ghost towns we been adding lately. So check it all out only at http://paranormalghostsociety.org also make sure you subscribe to us on youtube at https://youtube.com/AngelOfThyNight thank you so much!
