I am very proud to announce this evening our newest addition to our website Belmont aka Transylvania Nevada. This my friends is a fine ghost town one of the best in the silver state in my opinion. I spent a few years trying to get up here so you can imagine how awesome it was to have that opportunity and now I get to share this location with all of you.
Belmont begin as a tent camp in 1865 and just a short time later thousands of people lived here. Their was Chinatown, Redlight District, Saloons, Stage Stop, Dance Hall, Stores, Telegraph Office etc it was a big town that had a bit of everything. But some of you may know this ghost town from its famous courthouse which is one of the most photographed structures in the wild west and it is a wonder believe me.
Just like any ghost town this one had lawlessness, lynchings etc and yes their are even some ghost stories especially revolving around the courthouse. For me this will be a two part project eventually I will return to investigate the courthouse and the old inn. You only can get access if your willing to do renovations of some kind and I think I can offer some help with there restoration project if they let me investigate them
This is a special addition on our site and unique so if you do not check it out your truly missing out because Belmont is a well talked about ghost town. As of now our website has more content then anybody on the web that is the truth. I hope to raise awareness, preservation and also educate people.
This is also a beautiful scenic area its Shoshone Territory allot of high desert mixed in with forest many rock formations, picturesque views etc. When I went it was in the middle of winter and there was allot of snow here some as deep as my waste lol. But I still hit it out of the ballpark and regardless of the snow falling I still drove up here to explore Belmont.
I did not know about this town till I had another paranormal group tell me they were doing restoration work here and some ghost stories. So its fascinating and really there is allot of cool remnants of the town remaining. Their is bank ruins, miner cabins, saloons, brick courthouse and so much more. I am sure there is still more to see and that will be when I return because I could not get to all the mills here. No less this is a HUGE addition on our site it will take you guys awhile to explore and enjoy but its worthwhile if you dedicate that time and do not do it for me do it because you want to enjoy this ghost town the way we did when we worked on this project.

Our next addition on our website will be Tonopah it will be the biggest hub on the web when I am finished on it even bigger then Belmont. You guys have no idea for the treat your in for that addition will include an air base, giant mill, mines, abandoned buildings, cemetery and even the clown motel. It will take me a couple weeks I am sure to do. I wish I could put it out sooner but its me and me only doing this so it takes time to edit videos, make buttons and follow up with my research. Plus I spent five days in one week in Tonopah making two trips out there one with my family then one with my sons and there friend so its huge. I also did this one in the winter so lots of winterscapes it will be breathtaking!
With that being said this should give you something to do for the time being. Belmont is a great ghost town its north of Tonopah and so in a sense there kind of sister ghost towns. The work we do is always ongoing will be doing our second adventure up in Coloma California to get more video, photos, evidence and gather research for our website soon. That will be a big project to but I cant wait because I have never really gotten to see it all.
With that being said I hope everyone has a great weekend this weekend will be filled with hiking, exploring, beer, football, good eats like apple or pumpkin pie, a pumpkin patch and another great ghost town. Rain, snow or shine ill be adventuring with bells on believe me. Without further ado I give you BELMONT aka Transylvania!
