I am very happy to announce during the graveyard hour this wonderful addition on our website known as Crystal Peak Cemetery. It really is more then just a cemetery but in actuality all that really remains of the stage stop and ghost town of Crystal Peak. I read recently they are discovering remnants of the town nearby but they are well hidden so the cemetery is a reminder of what once was.
I did this cemetery almost a couple years ago yeah guys I am heavily behind on the website I add at least one or two cases a week but each week lately I go out once or twice to so I never run out of places to add to our site or share with all of you trust me when I say this. But no less its a nice place very historic, scenic and when I went it was a winter wonderland so between all the ghost hunting I had fun having snowball wars with my kids.
This place fascinates me really I believe that its one of the more haunted cemeteries in Northern Nevada then again it really does not get allot of visitors and not many know about it. Verdi is one of the less known towns in Nevada but really its not to far from Reno it also has Boomtown Fun Center and even the Sasquatch Tavern all of which id love to experience sometime again.
Crystal Peak started off really as a stage stop then it grew into a town which died and was consumed by the growth of Verdi. But back in the day it was a major milling town they would cut the trees down around town as it was at the the time back in the day heavily wooded then cut them down to railroad ties for the Central Pacific Railroad which goes right through the middle of town and not far from this cemetery.

Its not a huge addition on our site but again its a fun one and a really nice cemetery. Not sure what it is about Verdi though that crazy shooter had a house there and back when I was doing the cemetery some weirdo was stalking us in his vehicle or rather my kids so I was ready to open up a can of whoop ass here. Not to keen on some of the strange locals up around this cemetery but I did it and it looks great on our site no matter what weirdos we encountered on this trip.
I figured id get it out now because I have allot of appointments today my knee shots, my son then has his appointment, got investigations this weekend, my football game and a report to write about my journey to Nipple Peak. So much to do so very little time believe me when I say that.
I also will be starting our website addition of Belmont which is one of the greatest ghost towns in the state of Nevada. I know I wont have it out for a week or two we worked on a very large project there but the ghost town does have one of the finest court houses I have seen out of any ghost town I ever been to and well lets just say when you see Belmont you will fall in love with the place because when I put it on the site your going to be wowed so give me some time its me myself and I believe me so its work in progress lol.
