**NEW** Updates On Our Site: Sutro Baths & Cliff House Lands End San Francisco......
I have to say Adolph Sutro is one of the men that I idolize when I think of one of the more notable figures in wild western culture. Sutro as most of you are aware engineered the construction of the Sutro Tunnels in Virginia City which saved allot of miners lives believe me. He took his wealth moved onto San Francisco buying up real estate where he became not only mayor but built one of the most beautiful French Chateaus in all of America overlooking the ocean and his baths. The baths were the largest in the world and they were designed to recycle the water from the oceans high tide twice a day. He also built a sea cave and for its time in the 1800's it was state of the art.
The Sutro Baths were truly amazing with an amusement park, concert hall, museum, art gallery, skating rink, trains and all sorts of events. Their was nothing like this in the world it was a happy place but it also was full of tragedies such as ship wrecks where many men died, suicides, accident deaths and even fires. When Sutro died the Chateau burned and probably many of the ancient artifacts he collected. Later the baths also burned down leaving behind ruins.
Over the years their are allot of tales about this inlet being haunted by ghosts, sightings of sea monsters, strange cults, mutilations, UFOs and even curses. Its a Cali favorite for urban explorers and kind of a world away from a world even though its in San Francisco.
This is a gorgeous addition on our site and in a way I am happy that its on our site so we can honor Adolph Sutro for years to come. He was a great man who did allot of great things for the people of San Francisco and has quite the success story. He was one of the men who had gotten off the boat and became a millionaire. He was a brilliant engineer but he also was a man who dreamt big.
This is a beautiful place full of nature, views of the golden gate bridge, history, legends, myth, lore and definitely even the paranormal. This was our first project in the future I am going to do a second project here and dine at the Cliff House while enjoying views of the ocean. So were not done yet I have some other leads on strange sites in Lands End as well so much to look forward to. I wont get into the entire history your just going to have to delve and trust me their is plenty to dive into so enjoy my friends.

Their are allot of awesome vintage photos I integrated into this addition including the tragic fires and even a ship wreck. Their is other gems also found here such as pictures of ruins and oceanscapes its worth checking out trust me. I am not done with this project our next trip ill be touring The Cliff House and I have some other sites including some tunnels I want to explore here so were not done yet. Time to time I go to San Francisco to bring you guys some really fantastic stuff and ill keep it coming trust me on that.
Since its just me myself and I it takes time for me to add my explorations on our site. Its a full time job which is why we need folks who get involved even if its just on our forums to alleviate me so I can continue our heard earned research. Your going to love it check it out its an amazing location and really a gem in the bay area.
The next addition coming out on our site will be Fort Miley ill try to have it out in a few days its not a huge place but trust me its also a gem hidden at the top of Land's End overlooking the ocean and well I hope you guys love these places we explore as much as I do because your in for allot of future treats like this one!
