**NEW** Updates On Our Site "Comstock Gold Mill & Savage Mansion" Comtock Museum
I am so happy that I finally have gotten this location onto our site because I really want to see this museum thrive. The Comstock Gold Mill has to working stamps its the only two stamp working Joshua Hendy Mill in the country and you guys are going to get to see it.
The site was home to the Savage Mine which was established in the 1860's and was a major player in the Comstock Lode Bonanza. But flooding, tragic falls, deaths, pockets of hot steam and flooding plagued this mine for many years. As a matter in fact this mine was over 2000' deep while the Combination shaft nearby went down to about 3,200'. So they were big mines and you needed mills like to crush the ore so the gold and silver could be processed into bullion.
You will also get to see The Savage Mansion where Ulysses Grant spoke from the second floor balcony and trust me it was one of the finest elegant mansions in all of Virginia City. Hell even today it still is really and back in the day the mill and mines superintendents lived on the second and third floor while the bottom story was used as a mining office.
This is a fantastic place allot of rust, relics of the past, awesome BW photos etc etc Its a fine historical site that dates back to the 1860's and the main goal is preservation then the ghost that come with it. I have to say in the past five years I consider myself lucky to have gotten to investigate, explore and adventure at some of the places I have in Virginia City. Really this place for me is the icing on the cake some of the first mining history that came to this region occurred right here and you guys get to enjoy it the same way I did as very little has changed.

Its a nice quaint addition on our website and I hope that we can help promote this place more maybe even someday bring you a more in depth investigation at night or something down the road. Ill do just about anything to help preserve these locations in Virginia City that is why we put them on our website that is why we put all our locations on the site for 16 years really! My goal since I moved out here back in 2011 is to bring our viewers as much of Virginia City as much as I possibly can and this is just another location that really needs to be known to the world. That way it will boost donations and tours so that all of you can hear those beautiful ore crushing stamps fall in the mill.
I really hope all of you enjoy this location it kind of coincides with the Old Storey Courthouse and Jail addition we just added. Since I did the jail in the morning and did this mill before sundown with some wild western fun in between. Welcome to my world folks embrace the journey!
The next update on our site I wont have up till next week since I have allot of EVP to listen to and photos to study. But the next addition will be The Sparks Estate and its a really beautiful place. This is one of the most haunted houses in Northern Nevada and guess what? We are the ones with the keys so we get to experience ghosts pretty often here and its just another location I cant wait to talk about as well as get onto our website.
Just remember if you do not visit these website additions you never really know all the great work we do and accomplishments our paranormal group made. Were making allot of headway but we have a long road to go I am over 60 investigations behind with the website so its all I do seven days a week anymore is add these locations we journey at. The problem is with that is I do more journeys then additions to the site so were definitely keeping busy since the weather is causing us to be limited I been utilizing that time to get great content out to our viewers, friends and fans.

A special thank you to Outlaw Dave who showed me around the mill and filled me in on some historical facts I never knew about the area and mine. Those stamps brought music to my ears the moment I seen one fall I nearly went into cardiac arrest LMAO!
