Our Investigation Report In Virginia City Nevada 12-16-17 Holiday Special.....

Every year near the holidays I try to make it up to Virginia City Nevada to do a little Christmas shopping and to do some paranormal investigating. I have to say I am proud of the progress we made over the past seven years nearly. We have almost all of Virginia City complete which is a tall order for many ghosthunting groups its not a feat many have done especially on the level which we have done it. Virginia City is my stomping grounds a place I can chase the strange, drink a cold brew, relish the history and make some memories.

The holidays are a magical time of year its a time where everything is snow draped and decorations line the streets. It feels like home and for me Virginia City is kind of a second home so every time I go up there I get a bit taken by everything and believe me I enjoy it to the fullest. The paranormal is only a part of what I do but it is not everything there is history, preservation, meeting new faces and good eats to involved with what we do here.

I would take on a few locations the first one being The Way It Was Museum, Washoe Club and would finish off the evening at Geiger Lookout. Very small projects in between good eats, shopping and having a few brews in between. Believe you and me this is a time of year where I strap the beard on wave to everyone in Virginia City and like any Santa get a little tipsy.

I never expect to see or experience ghost I go into each place just gathering research. Some places end up turning up in VC to be haunted no matter what time of day I visit other places are quiet. I never know much till I examine the EVP sometimes the photos and on occasion I even get a real ghost experience up here. So I never know what may or may not happen but being a part of it is what matters. As a paranormal investigator its my duty to put forth time and effort into my casework without expecting anything then if something does happen great!

When I first arrived in Virginia City it was very early to be honest with you not one person was out walking the streets and there no vehicles either. In a sense its a bit creepy because generally VC is always bustling but late at night and early morning nobody is out because nothing is open for business. It was a cloudy morning as a matter in fact it snowed all night long and snow is no stranger to Virginia City. They use to get allot more years ago but times have changed due to the strange weather patterns we are having up here winters are more mild recently.

Driving around Virginia City is hard with snow on the ground the plows were out yes but allot of side roads are very steep downtown trust me I went to brake down a hill and continued to slide right through an intersection. I was lucky nobody was crossing the road or that cars were not passing through it at the time or someone could have gotten hurt. Try taking a half ton truck down a massive steep hill and see if you can stop on a snowy icy road its not fun. The road conditions were pretty bad in the morning eventually I just decided to park downtown near the visitors center and walk around with my coffee in hand.

The shops were not open at the time as a matter in fact due to snow downtown was running a bit behind but there was Xmas lights everywhere some lit trees in the shops windows etc. I always stop at the visitors center met a guy there that talked with me for awhile. Just general blotter like I said VC is a place your going to meet new faces and make new friends. The guy is in a band that I go see time to time so he invited me to watch him and his band members play. Very nice guy and to see them play is free at the Bucket Of Blood Saloon.

The visitors center had a series of gingerbread houses that you could vote on. This is always fun because you get to pick one that the kids made. I have to say some of them were pretty nice but I went with this dark creepy gothic gingerbread house A plus for creativity. I think it had graves and everything the other houses were to cheery and bright. The purple and black gingerbread house was the bomb I hope they won!

The museum was not open the curator was not in I would have to wait. So we went to the Christmas store bought a couple ornaments for the tree. Its Christmas all the time here all year around but every year its a tradition to buy an ornament from here. I bought a Truckee Railroad train engine ornament for the tree and Tammy also picked up a train engine to but hers was red mine was black. In between we had some fun visited the jail and went to a few shops that were open. One of the shops we bought an alien shirt at. I eyeballed a few gifts in case I want to come back later also.

Our first investigation of the day would take place at The Way It Was Museum. The building is not very historic but the property it sits on is especially since the Fire of 1875 ripped through here burning structures down the lot eventually became a place that focused on Virginia Cities local history boasting all sorts of artifacts such as mine equipment, bottles, tools and anything that would be related to the first pioneers who came to VC.

The Way It Was Museum

This investigation had two parts the first one would be the museum itself the second part was the Geiger Grade lookout point which use to be a wagon road toll in the 1800's. So feel free to skip to the end of the report to hear about Geiger lookout. You see many of the pioneers items found at the museum were brought through the toll via wagon. Virginia City had only a couple roads in one was through Devil's Gate another one was from Geiger Grade through Reno and the other was through Sugarloaf Mountain. All the items in the museum were brought here via railroad or wagon in the mid 1800's during Virginia Cities boom so the museum is truly a magnificent place to explore.

I think the curator was a bit scared of me I mean I had my sidearm on me wearing my Santa beard. She just kept looking down at it. Which is odd because in VC allot of folks carry there side arms just not Santy Clause haha. Not many people who have met a Santa with black nails either. No less most of Virginia City knows me just not the curator at least yet lol. But if your going to go up to VC around the holidays its fun to do it with some holiday spirit. The curator had a sense of humor though she did crack a Santa joke when I arrived so all is good.

I will say that taking EMF readings here is not a good idea there is allot of lights and power running through the place. Therefore, Gauss was out of the question because power gives false readings. No less I probably should have came here at night when the place was dark but its all good. Imagine how many spirits are attached to the artifacts found here for example outside are old wagons, ore carts and mining equipment. Most of the artifacts belonged to folks who died in the mines or came to Virginia City to live out there days.

One of my favorite things about Virginia City is the artifacts I live for the old lamps, mining equipment, glass bottles etc. Not allot of folks realize it but VC is one of the largest historical landmarks in the US and it does not matter where you go even the museum your going to see allot of early pioneer history here. You can sit down dine in a restaurant and your going to see relics all around you. The museum just happens to preserve a majority of them.

I started out seeing an assay furnace, overhead timbering car, sewing machine, mineral gem collection, maps of the mine tunnels, old safe, glassware, lead ladle and even a card collection which boasted the final poker hand of Wild Bill Hickok who was shot in the back known as dead mans hand. Not to far away are native American artifacts such as baskets and even a small stamp machine used in some low key mining. There is so much to see you cant see everything here in one take I am sure id have to go back here a few times no doubt.

They also have an old phone, telegraph and slot machines. Allot of local Nevada history can be found in the museum. Virginia City was more modern then other towns in the west I mean the first running water and toilets were born here really. That is why so many politicians came to VC to gamble, drink and live it up can you blame them? Compared to other cities in the west VC was classy and people had wealth.

There is also a creepy Victorian doll collection if I did not know id say the dolls were alive or haunted because they seem to watch you know matter where you walk. There is also an old piano, steam car and stagecoach with some dummies in it dressed like pioneers. In between an anvil and allot of rusty mining tools including lanterns and other tools like pick axes.

I seen also a stuffed wildcat I guess they use to have dog vs wild cat wars in VC. There is a nice collection of old guns as well and some skulls of local wildlife in the area. They have a computing scale its quite old but the first of its kind of Dayton Ohio. I noticed many of the artifacts here came from other parts of the country not just VC. But no less were from the mid 1800's to Victorian era. I seen a Louis the XVI desk, Copper Still, Ore Cart and some old hurricane lamps which pioneers used to light there homes. There are artifacts everywhere you look above, below, on shelves, in cabinets etc. Some of it is related to the Comstock other goodies came from other ghost towns.

There is allot to see inside but that should give you an idea of some of the things you may see if you wander the museums halls. I mean lets face it not allot is left from the 1800's and some of the artifacts found here were very well taken care of some looked brand new because the museum cleaned them up then put them behind glass so they stay in pristine shape.

While the museum has allot inside you can tour the grounds to where you will see ore carts, wagons, wagon wheels, a timber splitter, head frame, gears, mining equipment, water wheel, stamp machines, timber wagon, water tower and so much more. This kind of brought back memories when I first moved up here about seven years ago my kids were smaller back then and I took them to the museum to walk the grounds let them run around and play. But we never really delved into it the way I did this time around because this time I was childless and focused on busting some ghosts that might be connected to these old objects.

After the museum we did allot more shopping around the candy shop is awesome because they always hand you free root beer barrels every time you walk past it even if they knew they gave you one they are like here ya go have another one lol. We were on the hunt to decide were to eat and were shocked that one of our favorite restaurants shut down known as the Mustang Ranch Steak House who also owns the brother here in Nevada. Man the steak burgers were good there sad to see the place closed.

We ended up going to the Delta Saloon and Restaurant to eat. I been going here for many years the service and the food are top notch. The waitresses are always nice as well and its a good place to have lunch. But over the years its changed ownership so the menu has gotten smaller and they have gotten rid of all their special ales including the Suicide Ales which I loved to down every time I was in town lol.

I had a fish fry at the Delta sadly my fish was raw they had to take it back cook me an entire new fish the chef came out to apologize about it. While I was waiting I drank an ale and also ordered a spiked Amaretto hot chocolate with white almonds and coffee drink. That drink was so good it was hot which felt nice after being out in the cold and the alcohol in it was just right the perfect alcoholic hot drink. The ale of course was to go with lunch.

I had to build up a good appetite get a little tipsy before we moved out to investigate the haunted Washoe Club. I do not get paid to chase the paranormal this is not a job its an interest and one I am very good at. Therefore no sin in having a couple beers before you take on the dearly departed hell it could be my last meal lol. But we were excited because after lunch we had an appointment to investigate the upstairs above the club which is one of the most haunted locations in the west. For me it was the best Christmas gift I could get because I have such a definitive love for the paranormal and anything historic.

Even dining at the Delta is awesome they have the cursed Suicide Card Table and original wood floors as well as lamps. I love dining here everything is so old you would think you were dining in the 1800's. Nobody was dining here we had the entire restaurant really to ourselves and when you step out of the restaurant they have the saloon area or you can go upstairs where the hotel rooms are its all just very surreal.

After lunch and a few drinks we gathered up our gear then made our way a couple doors down to the haunted Washoe Club where we would take on the second and third floor of the establishment which today is all abandoned and so scary in fact that over the years other paranormal groups have literally packed up there gear leaving or rather running for the hills.

Old Historic Haunted Washoe Club
Investigation 2

This would not be my first rodeo at the Washoe Club as a matter in fact our first investigation we did was a brief overview of the downtown stairs where the bar, crypt and museum is located. The second investigation however would focus on the second and third story. But also I would have the entire downtown stairs to investigate as well.

I use to have a membership to the club so I could go up drink ale watch magic shows and party with the elite lol. They have a haunted museum to its nothing special to me one of the photos is a giant piece of dust taken by Zak from Ghost Adventures but whatever they should host some of my apparition photos in Virginia City to be honest with you.

There is a room with a private bar, mounts, pool table, memorabilia, chandieliers etc I got access to by myself where I was able to taken some EVP and readings that was pretty awesome. But soon after we would be heading up some steep dark stairs to the second story which was icy cold compared to the heated portion of the club.

I have spent years trying to get access to the upstairs because supposedly the upstairs of the club is the most haunted but its also been abandoned for decades. The rooms use to be hotel rooms for guest back in the 1800's then eventually they were turned into apartments and had residents living in them for many years.

The stairs climb very steeply to the second floor you have to be careful and if you continue up them they go onto the third floor but man is it high up. The floors were very tall at the club so allot of stairs up a narrow corridor. Its not fun trust me and being I have a blown out knee as well as ankle boy I had to concentrate just to get to the second story and hopefully not fall to my death.

The upstairs is dingy, cold, dark and a bit confusing with halls that go in every direction. Some rooms connect to one another having two entrances or exits rather depending on how you look at it. I got to see a crooked room, ball room and was told that if you had to use the bathroom you had to go upstairs during the towns boom years if you were a guest.

There is a real foreboding feeling when I walked around upstairs I mean you almost feel watched in the sense some rooms are so dark you have to have a light on and well you guys know me I had sun glasses on because that is just my style so I had to be real careful not to trip on anything.

Down one of the dark corners of a room there is a Willy Nelson dummy sitting in a chair it catches you off guard because you think its a person sitting there watching you. I jumped a little when I see it because at first I was like holy shit its a guh guh guh ghost lol. Not to far from there they showed me the back entrance to the spiral staircase which today is a marvel because its not held up by anything its just built so well that it stands on its own without any supports. Although the staircase on the second floor is sealed leading down to the first floor you could see that if you were a patron at the club you could easily take the staircase directly to your room.

There is allot of old pictures and paintings on the wall some rooms even have old wallpaper but its peeling. Above many of the rooms doors are these panels which open a little to help circulate the air here. Lets face it in the winter the rooms were cold in the summer very hot. If you look out the front of the clubs windows you can see the haunted Saint Mary's Church out front to which we investigated. One of the paintings was of a scary clown. There is some old chairs in some of the rooms also.

One of the rooms if I recall had an old desk another one had a doll in it where this ghost of a little girl haunts. Sadly kids lived here and some of them died in strange accidents in Virginia City. Therefore there are child ghost that haunt the Washoe Club because these kids lived up above it and some just died tragically. You had kids that drowned, got lost or were hit by the train that sort of thing. Life in the west was not easy people died daily from accidents that really could have been prevented.

I also was able to go above the crypt which is this stone room where dead bodies were stored in the winter because the ground was to frozen to bury the folks who passed. The room above the crypt was small but you could see the stone work and some other pieces of machinery inside. They had this big iron door over it probably to help contain the stench back in the day. I been in the crypt too multiple times on the lower floor generally folks are in there doing seances its weird but I never been directly above the crypt so that was something new for me. I never realized there was a second story above the Crypt but its true there is an upper deck that has a railing that looks down into the lower part of it just wow!

Some of the rooms are big others are small but the second floor offers so much to see besides there are quite a few artifacts around as well lining the walls which I photographed. The ballroom is full of old artifacts if you like that kind of thing and who knows some of them might even be haunted. The ballroom is haunted it has stories about a ghostly lady that haunts it. The ballroom also has quite a few old wash tubs and machines one was called Whirl. They were manual machines and tumblers but if you lived here you had to have one in order to keep your clothes clean.

Beyond that there is a room that president Grant and Mark Twain use to play poker in the table still exist today as the two men sat there probably smoking a cigar and talking about the way the world works lol. I mean very few folks realize it but politicians came to the Club even spent the night here some might have even enjoyed some of the women who were prostitutes back in the day upstairs. I heard that one prostitute was strangled upstairs and her ghost haunts the club too. Quite a few deaths over the years have incurred at the Washoe Club some were suicides others were murders or simply accidents!

We moved on to another haunted room where a ghost scratches people its so dark in there and cold. I got to see an apparition photo taken in that room right where I stood and it was pretty creepy. The woman had hollowed out eyes and a mouth. It seems like the second floor alone had four to five different ghost that haunt it. While it was to quiet here you could feel how heavy the air was I been doing this a long time something is definitely here.

The third floor was pretty interesting too there is this room its all stone/brick very cold allot of broken windows also. But the man that lived here lost his child and ended up killing himself by placing a gun to his head. The room had some moose antlers, desk and one of the only diamond mirrors in the world which sparkles like the night sky when you put a flashlight to it. Another large diamond mirror is downstairs at the bar and its simply AMAZING.

There was a couple dolls upstairs on the third floor to a few in the room where the man shot himself then in another room in a small little rocker which a little girl ghost plays with. The dolls are spooky I mean you can be walking around in the dark then all of sudden there is a doll staring at you on some desk or table peering out at you lol. I think the dolls and artifacts found at the club are creepier then the ghost that haunt it at times.

In the foyer is this railed off area which looks down to the second floor lucky for me I did not trip over the banister and fall through it because I almost did not see it. Like I said you have to be careful this is a no joke type of place its very dark here and its easy to fall down steps or whatever. Some rooms had even windows on the inside looking out to the halls which were broken. If you wanted to you could step through a window and end up into a hallway.

One of the rooms was like a hotel room had an old wooden bed, end table and lamp. Its pretty amazing at how many artifacts there are here. They have this artifact that is kind of like an old jewelry box that came from out of the country here that dates back to more then 150 years ago. So you have to pay attention when you explore rooms because the little pieces of history give the upstairs character. Also on the third floor is another dummy just sitting in a rocker in the middle of a long dark hall. The dummies can be a good scare if you do not expect them and you come around the corner to investigate only to see something sitting in a rocker lol.

Many of the rooms had old rockers but some had cabinets even seen a very old record player. I tried not to miss a beat but I may rent the Washoe Club eventually and just spend the entire night here because this is a place that needs motion sensors, live camera feeds and allot of time in order to collect solid paranormal research as well as evidence. I mean the rooms are very large allot of dark halls and well it can get a bit confusing its a huge place.

Another room I was in had a huge hope chest all made of wood that was pretty awesome. I mean the artifacts alone may be connected to the ghost that haunt this place at least I think they do. One can imagine that they belonged to the people who may have never wanted to part with them after death. Every room was unique different wallpapers and one the floors in a room had checker linoleum

Eventually I would head back down to the first floor down a long corridor of probably nearly 40 steps to finish my investigation downstairs at the crypt, bar area, museum and spiral stairwell. Like I said this is a large place you cant just go here for a few minutes and see it all it may take me a few more trips to fully compile this project on our website. .When I was downstairs an employee showed me remains of a cat they found in the walls while doing renovating the entire cat was mummified.

I had the entire haunted museum to myself which has some pretty cool stuff if you pay attention there are some apparition photos and even I believe a bigfoot cast. But they air ghost adventures which is lame I cant stand that show and I cant stand those cocky guys. Hell I cant stand that there location coordinator bullied me one time and now works on the travel network stealing our locations to give to that show while we get no credit for our stories or hard work that is SAD! I work hard to bring our viewers locations some of the ones we did our group investigated first and did the research paving the way for such shows to make television about TRUTH!

I spent sometime in the crypt did some EVP sessions did get a few EMF readings too which was great. Like I said they use to store bodies in here because the crypt is all stone built into the hillside and stays cool all year even in the summer. So in a sense it served as VC's morgue and is one of the most haunted places in the club. Between having the museum and crypt to myself it was a Christmas miracle because generally many other paranormal groups are here investigating and here I had almost the entire Washoe Club to myself upstairs included which is rare and we should be proud of this because when it gets on our site many people will be able to enjoy it like we did!

There is an old wells Fargo wagon in the museum too and while you have an entrance into the private club room the crypt is in the back and the other entrance leads to the room with the spiral stairwell. Beyond that is the saloon and how you exist the club. However before leaving the club I ordered myself a brew and we sat the bar to talk about the investigation. They had a Christmas tree which was all lit up and it was really cozy drinking my ale here. They also have a stuffed polar bear from the arctic also which is pretty awesome although its old it must had been hard to bring it down back in the day. Before I left the club I ordered there special hot cinnamon spiked apple cider oh my god I had reached the gates and gone to heavy.

The club was very amazing my second investigation was much longer and more thorough when I can get enough people to split on cost I can get us in there for the night so I highly recommend other paranormal groups locally working with me unless you want to pay hundreds of dollars which is not feasible nor cost effective since none of us get paid to do what we do. But this is a true haunted place one of the most on the west coast. Allot of ghost stories and captured evidence over the years its not a disappointment. I was told at night is really when the ghost are most active and 99 percent of people who rent the club at night have a ghostly encounter or experience of some kind so I definitely need to rent this place at night and give it an all out investigation not just an EVP session but live cameras all the goods lol.

After a few drinks and our wild exploration of the club we decided to do a little bit more Christmas shopping. I was kind of indecisive but eventually I found my son a real cowboy hat made of leather. I wear my cowboy hats when I visit ghost towns sometimes around VC. I went back to this little alley shop and bought Tammy a butterfly brooch full of gems along with an elephant pen holder for her desk at work. I was pretty happy because these were sentimental gifts with meaning and thought. Yeah it took me a few hours to find the right gifts but I eventually did and my family was pretty happy with that they had gotten.

By the time we were done with The Way It Was Museum, Lunch at the Delta, Christmas shopping and our investigation at the Washoe Club it was getting very chilly in VC. It started to get windy, clouds were rolling in off the range and the sun that melted some of the snow during the afternoon was simply gone. So we decided it was time to wrap up our journey in Virginia City and visit our last location of the day which was the Geiger Lookout Point just a few miles from town.

Geiger Lookout & Wayside Park

I visited the lookout a couple years ago seen some foundations of stone and even a plaque. But I wanted to come back when the time was right. I want to connect the lookout on our site with The Way It Was Museum since the museum was devoted to local pioneers its safe to say those same pioneers had to pay the toll to get into Virginia City to and from along the Geiger Grade.

The Geiger Grade overlooks Reno a thousand feet down into the valley with views of the city below, Mount Rose, Slide Mountains and the snowy sierras to the west its very amazing. Unfortunately some idiot stole the plaque at the parking lot which talks about the Geiger Grade. But there is some history here if you walk around and great panoramic views of Reno.

The area dates back as a toll constructed by Davison M. Geiger and John H. Tilton back in 1862. It was a dangerous but well travel route between Reno and the Comstock Lode. If you walk around the forest and hillsides you can see some of the original dirt wagon route below which was more treacherous then today's paved road which follows it but was improved upon in the 1870's.

The road in a sense is historical you had thousands of people on stage coaches traveling through here paying their toll. All they owned was on those wagons and stages which today some of it can be seen in the Way It Was Museum. This is why the two should be connected on our site because honestly if you wanted to be a miner in Virginia City you had to travel this rugged route that my friends was the way it was and not everyone made it safely.

Mark Twain briefly talked about the Geiger grade in his book "Roughing It" just like many other locations we have done research at. But he described it being a rugged mountain road used to haul silver from the Comstock Lode and a rough ride. The name derived from Davison M. Geiger who was a doctor and financed its construction. If you walk down the hill there is a set of stone steps with a plaque which honors the doctor which is worth seeing believe me.

The entire landscape below the parking area is full of Junipers and rocky terrain its a nice short little hike good for bring dogs on even kids as long as you watch them. I was a bit upset about the historic plaque that Nevada put in gone off the sign that pissed me off WTF is wrong with people. When I was here though nobody else was hiking around I had the entire area to myself. It was a bit cold and windy you could see some clouds coming in off the sierras and the sun setting over Reno boy what a great view. I stood in this one area looked down to see the old snaking unpaved portion of the Geiger Grade which four wheelers can often be seen but it is dangerous believe me.

I am not sure where the toll stations were set up but I heard there were quite a few of them from Truckee Meadows to Virginia City. I also read that robberies along this route were common especially because stage coaches had to slow down there is cliffs everywhere all the way down to Reno. When in 1936 the New Deal Works Progress Admin came in they improved the grade bypassing the steepest grades, widening the road and made it travelable for automobiles. Today the turn out area I parked up at is the site of a small older park but more then likely this area also was a toll perhaps camping area for pioneers.

As a matter in fact its an old park because it was built in 1938 which makes it 80 years old a 150 if you count the stages that went through here. But the WPA constructed outdoor stone fireplaces, lookouts and picnicking facilities. There is quite a few walkways made of vividly colored local rock leading to various paths including the Geiger Grade and even restrooms made of stone. Allot of the ruins today are crumbling such as the fireplaces but the walls and walkways look as if they are brand spanking new. Some of the signs were also removed on my hike but there is three paths one to Geiger other to Tilton and finally Thorp Points which all overlook the city of Reno.

There are quite a few little natural trails here and picnic areas some are more hidden then others. The stone fireplaces were pretty awesome built back in the 1930's and the massive wall found about half way hiking down to the Geiger Plaque. It was getting dark so I only made it to Geiger and Thorp Points. I also notice these stone fire pits or wells not sure what they were all of them had been cemented over or filled on in. Now that I think about it I may have made it to Tilton Point too but the sign was gone.

I seen some other stone ruins here not sure what they were for or used as. Its kind of strange because you will hike along this hill overlooking Reno and there is stone ruins everywhere scattered most are mainly fire pits and fireplaces. Back many years ago people came here to camp it gets cold here so you could burn some wood nowadays doing that would be a fire hazard considering the winters are more mild and we just do not get as much precipitation which puts the Juniper forest at risk that surrounds the Geiger Grade.

At one time silver made its way through here but later the toll area became a park and camping location for the residents of Reno and Virginia City. The views are awesome one mountain nearby was covered in snow. I had to set up the tripod get a couple nice photos of Tammy and I on this adventure. Last year ago the place was crowded with kids, dogs, people hiking around etc. I mean you can go to Geiger Lookout up these stone steps and stand on this outcrop overlooking all of Reno it truly is worth the stop and considering the rich history here its an important place because the original stage road can be seen below the same route Mark Twain took and many other prominent individuals via stage coach.

The sun was going down fast so we grabbed the pack made our way up the side of the Geiger Grade. I drove through Virginia City right as it was getting dark. I filmed my trek through the city so that our viewers could enjoy the street lit Christmas lights along the way to finish off my documentary. I always try to bring diversity to our viewers give them a look at every aspect of our journeys ranging from us drinking ales to chasing the unknown and everything in between. During the holidays Virginia City is all lit up whether its Christmas or Halloween its so awesome to drive through here at night and see all the pretty lights definitely worth filming at the end of a hard day of exploration.

I have to say my journey was memorable they all are and I go up to Virginia City often our next investigation will be the Opera House here its something we have not done but I look forward to the investigation plus they have a small area you can grab a few drinks at so you know ill have a good time chasing ghost and exploring it. But over the years we have done allot of cool places ranging from mills to mines to mountain hikes and historical sties like the Washoe Club. Were slowly getting it all done more then any other paranormal group in the region and I am so proud of our hard work.

Yeah in between its nice to have a little fun enjoy some good food, music, ale and you throw in some ghosts that really makes the day complete. What more could I ask for during the holidays afterall one of my Christmas wishes was to investigate the Washoe Clubs dark upstairs hotel rooms and I finally can cross that off my bucket list. The Way It Was Museum offered me a look back into the lives of the pioneers who braved this frontier and made there way up the Geiger Grade to begin there lives in the Comstock Lode.

I mean does it really get better then that whether your a history buff, paranormal investigator or just a guy trying to have some fun over the holidays? I hope that I can help preserve but keep these places alive for years to come and that our viewers will enjoy the hard work we continue to do for all of you. Its not always about the ghosts sure its fun to experience something paranormal but our research goes beyond a thrill were here to bring you these places as a whole the way they are meant to be enjoyed! It was a great way to finish off 2017 and a great way to build up some excitement as we visit VC again in 2018 to take on the Opera House.

Peace,
Lord Rick
