NEW Updates On Our Site "Santa Cruz Beach & Boardwalk" Portal Of The Strange

I wanted to wish everyone an awesome Friday The 13th today so with that being said also comes this wonderful new addition on our site. While some of you may not see Santa Cruz beach a big deal it has a century of sea monster, Bigfoot, UFO sightings and many ghostly legends. Its one of the oldest areas of the country where Spain once had a town which surrounded a mission on a hill overlooking the ocean.

As most of you know its located on the edge of Monterey Bay which boast one of the worlds deepest oceanic trenches thus many strange things transpire here. A couple years ago I had to visit it even if I did not see sea monsters I did research, talk to local folks and I did some good old fashioned urban exploring.

While this addition is designed to lighten the mood it also will be our hub for Santa Cruz meaning the more I work with that area the more content ill have to add to these pages in the future. One day I plan on going back I have other haunted and paranormal hot spots to work with not to far from downtown or the boardwalk. But this addition is all from my first adventure here and one ill never forget because Santa Cruz is a really great place.

It was the site of Kitchens anti submarine listeners, ghost that haunt the boardwalk, a sea monster that washed up and even massive giant UFOs that have risen out of the ocean at night. So many locals have so many great stories and what most of you might see is just a beach but I see so much more which is the entire purpose for my visit here.

This addition has plenty of awesome little additions then what I did is compiled it all together. I wanted to get this out a couple days ago but I been dealing with my son, medical issues, projects around the house etc etc and I had to spend a few days polishing on up such as my research and a few extra goodies so everyone has plenty of good content they can enjoy. This is one of the oldest sea coast amusement parks in the country and it has its share of dark history one boy was crushed on the roller coaster 70 years ago the same one I road after my trip to the ghost town of Purissima.

More or less though this was a place I had to visit being a paranormal investigator just to be a part of a place like this that had sea monster sightings for decades and UFO sightings is awesome in itself and I get to share it with all of you. I wish I had gotten more evidence but for me its sometimes about the history and the journey itself. I made some nice memories here and I seen so many cool things so with that being said I am giving you a more in depth look inside Santa Cruz which is a fun place to party, check out chicks, hike, chase UFOs, whale watch and many other things.

Back in the 1600's the Spanish arrived here they built this mission on a hill I did investigate the Mission but it wont come for another week and a half on our site. But they basically enslaved the natives forcing them into Catholicism or to labor for them. In turn it wiped out the Ohlone culture because they brought disease and today the language along with most of the culture has been lost. But this beach is ancient you had galleons of explorers land on it and the Ohlone thrived right in this bay fishing, hunting and gathering abalone shells which are also becoming nearly extinct.

The next addition I shall put out will be Evergreen Cemetery which also sits kind of close to the beach its not far can walk to it almost and its a very haunted place full of lush forest. I love the diversity this region offers you have mountains, rain forest, lagoons, rivers, redwood groves etc etc then the ocean and bay. But this will be an awesome cemetery going on our site and it probably will have more paranormal evidence then the beach simply because I do not live in Santa Cruz long enough to be able to monitor sea monsters and UFOs but I know their is plenty of evidence from others to prove otherwise.

When I went up here I did a little of everything the beach was a separate project from the more stranger sites inland but no less had a great time road on the giant dipper, drank and smoked pot on the beach, whistled at girls, played football, cliff climbed and of course tried to search for all things strange ending up finding a net with a buoy in it that weighed a couple hundred pounds that I drug onto shore and prior to that lost my hat in the surf lol. The food is amazing here and if you guys do not know it the movie The Lost Boys was filmed here so I can cross this place off my bucket list and hope you guys enjoy the wealth of information I have put out there. I plan on connection this page as a hub to all my other investigations in the Santa Cruz area so people can tie in all my work together I been researching and doing!

Have a great weekend my work is never done I plan on visiting a few ghost towns coming up. I put about one or two places on our site a week problem is I never can catch up because I do four times the amount of locations every month so I do not ever see catching up I just add places and add places and you guys get to see my journeys through my work on our site. Anyhow have a great weekend its Friday this means partay time such as steak, walking dead, beer, movies, hiking, offroading and of course smoking cigars at the casino and maybe just maybe seeing a few yard sales with this nice weather were having. Peace,
Lord Rick
