**NEW** Updates On Our Site" Mountain View Cemetery" Grandiose!!

This may just be one of the most amazing grandiose cemeteries in all of California then again I think it tops most cemeteries across the country. Their are over 200 thousand interred here all residing within the foothills of the beautiful San Gabriel Mountains overlooking the city below.

The cemetery was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted some of you might have known that he also designed Central Park in NYC. So his designs were meant to bring man and nature together. This is not just a cemetery its a place for joggers, ghost tours, gardens, park for kids, historical site etc etc. You will never see a cemetery like this one so for me this is a really special addition on our website.

Besides being a beautiful cemetery it has a Civil War, Pioneers and Chinese section. Their is even an area where only the rich and powerful are buried. Some of the known figures buried here are
Domingo Ghiradelli chocolate tycoon, Oakland Mayor Samuel Merritt after whom Lake Merritt was named, Hearst Castle architect Julia Morgan, big four railroad tycoon Charles Crocker, Anthony Chabot, founder of the Chabot Observatory, William Deger a show manufacturer who became Oakland's first millionaire, key system founder Francis Marion "Borax" Smith, three California governors, ill-fated lovers Alexander and Josphine Dunsmuir of the Dunsmuir House and Elizabeth Short also known as "Black Dahlia" who was the victim of an unsolved brutal murder in Hollywood.

We have some special sections in this update which cover the Black Dahlia murder case. Her murder was never solved its still a cold case although over the years their have been over 20 suspects. She is buried here I did not find the grave the cemetery is just huge. But it has some very amazing statues, pyramids, crypts as big as a small house, monuments and beautiful cityscapes. On a clear day you can see the bay unfortunately we did not see it to foggy in the distance.

If your looking to get away in nature this is the place to do it being here does not even feel like your in the city of Oakland. Its a pure place full of chapels, fountains, wildlife, green hills etc. If you want to check it out your going to be wowed I busted my ass putting this all together that includes the photography I took of the cemetery.

You can see this addition on our site directly at http://paranormalghostsociety.org/OaklandMountainViewCemetery.htm their is allot of content and it should keep you guys busy for awhile which is the entire point of what I do is to give the public allot of good stuff they can enjoy for years to come. Its quite possible I will at some time in my life revisit this cemetery to see more of it depending on the future of events. Sometimes I stay overnight in San Fran or Oakland with allot of projects sometimes not so many where I might have time to do more research here. This is a huge addition on our site then again its a huge cemetery and there is more to see trust me. I did not even touch the tip of the iceberg when it comes to this grand place.

I do want to apologize I did tell everyone this would come out last week but during my basketball game another player on the other team was driving and I jumped up to stop him from putting it in the net landed really bad on the side of my ankle. So for the past week its been a very painful experience my foot swelled up three times as large, purple bruising in my toes all the way up to my knee and I was hardly able to walk. Today I am doing better but not sure ill be playing in tomorrows games. But because its so bad I cant even sit at my desk very long because it actually causes major swelling because I have to keep my ankle elevated. Its been very sad for me being bed ridden for days on end hell I could not even play in Thursdays game last week had to sit on the bench and well if most of you know me I am a man of action not much of a sitter lol.

On top of it I had to cancel my investigation this weekend which sucked but its not a total lost I rescheduled it for later this week since I am now up and walking around. I only had a little left to get done today with this addition so I had just finished it off the press movies are done and Mountain View is live. This is pure beauty who would think death could be so lovely and that is how Olmsted aimed for when he designed this place.

Mountain View borders also Home Of Eternity Cemetery which is the Hebrew Plot and St. Mary's Cemetery. I should have St. Mary's Cemetery live in a couple days its a must since these are all sister cemeteries bordering one another. I am excited to get the cemeteries done because after this project is live to all of you then you guys are going to get a dose of a few really awesome ghost towns I did.

So ill keep it coming we have our St. Patties Day investigation Saturday, trip to Hawaii is coming up ill be bringing you guys some ancient sites and then we have some other nice locations ill be adding to the site. You cant possibly know what it is we do who we are or what we have done so always check out our website additions because allot of things we do I will NOT add to social media or in our forums. I want people to visit our site and really experience the same things I did whether you have an interest in the paranormal or just overall urban exploration.

Anyhow its time to go watch Bates I also am going to smoke a cigar at the casino, drink a brew, play some games then come home grill some chicken. I hope everyone loves this location the same way I love it. Have a nice night everyone! But alas Mountain View has arrived a few days late yes but totally worth the wait! Its nice out today 70s snowcapped peaks weather warming up ill have some access to some ghost towns finally. Plus the days are longer which means more EXPLORING YESSSS!!!
Peace,
