Xbox Series S | £249 £189.99 at Amazon
Let's kick off this season of early Black Friday Xbox deals with one of the best Xbox Series S discounts on the internet. You can get £60 off of the Xbox Series S console at Amazon. This is a historically low price for the new-gen system which, as a reminder, plays all of the best Xbox Series X games. There's no disk drive on this system, which makes it perfectly paired with a Game Pass subscription. You may want to consider an external SSD to expand that 512GB of storage though, so keep an eye out for some great Black Friday gaming deals this week.
Xbox Game Pass Subscription | £32.99 £19.99 at CD Keys
If you've been paying attention to this Black Friday Xbox live blog so far – and, given that we're just one post in, I certainly hope you have been – then you have probably spotted a pretty excellent Xbox Series S discount. Okay, friends in the USA. I hear ya – you want a deal you can take advantage of. How about this one: $50 off an Xbox Series S? That's a fantastic pre-Black Friday sale, bringing Microsoft's awesome next-gen console in at what we believe is a record low price. Walmart has been seeing products come in and out of stock all day, so you may want to take advantage of this excellent deal before it's too late.
Modern Warfare 2 | £69.99 £56.99 at Amazon
Whether you're looking for an arena to level guns for Warzone 2 a little bit faster or you're simply looking to play one of the best games of 2022, then you may want to take a look at this great Modern Warfare 2 discount at Amazon. The retailer has listed MW2 at £13 off its RRP, and it's the cross-gen bundle meaning it'll work across Xbox One and Xbox Series X. Whether you're in for the campaign or the MP, this is one deal you won't want to wait on.
Xbox Wireless Controller – Robot White | $59.99 $39.99 at Amazon
The official Xbox Wireless Controller in an attractive Robot White colorway is discounted at Amazon right now, with a 35% saving. While this isn't the lowest the peripheral has been, it's still a damn good price for what is an otherwise excellent controller. It'll connect with your Xbox Series X and Xbox One, and it features an in-line capture button to help you better snap great gameplay clips. Grab it for just $39 while you can.
A Plague Tale: Requiem | £49.99 £32.99 at Amazon
One of the year's best Xbox Series X games is now coming in at just £32.99 at Amazon as part of an early Black Friday sale. That's right! Xbox Wireless Controller Carbon Black | £54.99 £34.99 at Amazon
If you're hoping to jump into some of the best co-op games this Christmas you'll probably need another controller. Well, it's Amazon to the rescue with this early Black Friday Xbox deal – £20 off the official Xbox Wireless Controller in the standard Carbon Black colorway. This pad will work on Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and will even connect to your mobile devices. £34.99 is a great price, but stock won't last forever.

This is the ultimate version of Madden NFL 23, and it's cheaper than ever before. This fantastic 30% saving should be taken advantage of while you still can, as this external portable hard drive is a must own. The Quarry | £64.99 £24.99 at Amazon
Supermassive Games, the studio behind interactive horror games like Until Dawn and The Dark Pictures Anthology, are back with an all-new tale of murder and mystery. The Quarry was released earlier this year, setting you up as a camp counsellor before abandoning you in the woods with a creature that stalks every shadow. The Quarry is scary stuff – but do you know what isn't all that scary? This massive £40 saving for the game on Xbox Series X.
Turtle Beach Recon 70P Gaming Headset | £34.99 £14.99 at Amazon
The Turtle Beach Recon 70P Gaming Headset is a compelling introduction to the world of wired gaming headsets. Turtle Beach is known for quality and performance, so even this budget option will help better define your audio experience and allow you to chat with friends online. The Recon 70P is compatible with Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and Nintendo Switch, so grab it at just £14.99 at Amazon while you can.
Gotham Knights | £64.99 £29.99 at Amazon
If you read our Gotham Knights review, you'll know that our return to Gotham City was a little underwhelming. However, there is a solid two-player co-op game in there, so if you're looking for something to play with a buddy, there are worse ways to spend your time than punching bad guys as either Nightwing, Batgirl, Red Hood, or Robin. This £35 saving may be the cheapest we see Gotham Knights over Black Friday, so act fast if you're interested.
Halo Infinite | £54.99 £14.99 at Amazon
There's never been a better time to jump into Halo Infinite – and no, not just because of this absurd £40 discount in the early Black Friday Xbox sales. Halo Infinite recently received online campaign co-op, Forge mode (so that you can build your own custom maps), and a smattering of quality of life updates. Halo Infinite had a rocky start, but it's in a good place right now, so take advantage of this massive saving and see for yourself.
Elden Ring | $59.99 $35 at Walmart
Have you been holding off buying Elden Ring? Well, change that stance, because the game – which was named the Ultimate Game of the Year at the Golden Joysticks – is now on sale. There's a reason Elden Ring's so beloved by gamers the world over; the story of a knight who traverses a deadly landscape, defeating dragons and creatures you can barely conjure up in your own imagination. There's a thick story to enjoy, though Elden Ring's more about the combat. It's almost impossibly hard. You'll be putting in hours and hours of your life to get through this one. But once you do invest, you'll be heavily rewarded. There's a reason, after all, it's won all these awards. Be sure to pick up Elden Ring if you haven't already.
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Extraction | $39.99 $9.99 at Amazon
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Extraction is a neat standalone follow-up to Siege's Outbreak mode of 2018 that has only improved as various patches have been released. It's a game that really shines in multiplayer, and considering how cheap it now is at just $9.99, you and your mates can all grab a copy and start killing zombies and all sorts of other creatures together. This one's also cheap in the UK, too, thanks to a deal at Game bringing it down to just £9.99.
US: $39.99 $9.99 at Amazon
UK: £19.99 £9.99 at Game
Madden NFL 23 | $59.99 $29.99 on the Xbox store
Remember when EA Sports used to be in the game? Well, now you can be too – because the latest version of Madden NFL is on sale. While it doesn't exactly revolutionize the series, there are some new additions – especially to free agency negotiations – that are excellent, and positive tweaks made all round. If you buy these every year, then frankly, now's the time to grab a copy, as it's half-price on the Xbox store, and there are bigger discounts on the other special digital editions.
