Subj: [ParanormalGhostSociety] Last Night's Investigation Report Date: 3/6/2005 2:54:29 PM Eastern Standard Time From: AngelOfThyNight@aol.com To: ParanormalBuffalo@yahoogroups.com, paranormalghostsociety@yahoogroups.com, Paranormalflorida@yahoogroups.com, ParanormalGhostSociety@groups.msn.com Eustis Greenwood Cemetery I sort of found this place on accident as I was searching for a fort cemetery when I could not find the road. So I told James and Aaron you watch me find us a cemetery. I drove down a few side streets and all of sudden we passed the gates of this 1800s cemetery. Kind of an odd coincidence or perhaps it was just good judgment on my part. We parked in the new section and I was amazed at the rolling hills within the cemetery. As we got out of the car and walked about fifty feet it became really cold. You could feel totally surrounded. The guys also felt it as well. There was this odd sense of attention on us so I took a bunch of photography in this area. The one time the guys seen the entity right in front of us in the flash. It was just this big mass of energy moving all around us. We did not spend alot of time in the new section I mean most stones were from the late 90s to the 2000s. But it was very well kept and just because your in a new part of a cemetery does not mean you cannot get good ghostly activity. So we pretty much walked around the new section until we seen across the streets the lit entrance way and sign for the other half of the cemetery which is a much older plot. We walked across the street and I stood in front of the sign to have my photo taken by Aaron. We then walked into the cemetery. There was many new stones mixed in with old ones. For the most part it seemed that the cemetery was in good condition. We walked fairly far back and there was quite a few hills. I think this is the first cemetery I have seen in Florida with this many steep hills. It actually is a rarity to see such a terrain in the sunshine state. We walked up a hill and took this dirt road all the way to this area where it was an empty plot of land still unused. This cemetery was huge perhaps rumored to be haunted as well we really did not get much activity in the older section accept some cold spots occasionally. But nonetheless we tried to find the oldest stones to take some photos for the site. Then we made our way to the front. Towards the front of the cemetery we heard some dogs barking so we did not want to stay to long. But we did find a confederate soldiers grave and a few others which were broken, crumbled and very old. So we did manage to find some of the first burials here. A few times I turned around and thought something was behind us rather then in front. We did end the investigation here but Greenwood turned out to be a very strange cemetery with alot of mixed emotions perhaps due to all the permanent residents here. We then headed on off to Seminole Springs Cemetery.
