Tonight again proved to be quite an adventure as always but again we had a pretty busy night of investigating as we made a return trip to Deveux college for a second trip as I promised everybody, the Shredded Wheat Office Complex and The Lovely Oakwood Resthaven Cemetery. We left roughly around 9pm and headed off on our 30mile road trip. Our adventure begins here.....

Deveaux College Second Investigation

After some really great photography here our first visit a few weeks ago and alot of activity I made it an initiative to return to this old college. We walked on the grounds and right off the bat a group of people were following us with a flashlight an some girl kept shouting hi to me off in the distance. I felt like I was being stalked as no matter where we walked we had a spotlight on us. Eventually we got behind a tree stood their and waited and they ran and took off. I really was not in the mood to have strangers join our investigation without asking although the thought of owning there spotlight sounded nice lol. We eventually walked up to the dorm off in the woods. I did not feel watched here as last time. What made it bad though was the loud fireworks going off as we were entering it sort of blotched out any sounds in the woods or coming from inside the dorm. When we entered I could not help feeling a few cold spots especially in the first hallway.  Attached was a room with a fireplace. We did make our way into the basement area it was very small almost like some passages were sealed or cemented up. The one room  had a hole filled with water. There also was the hum of many electrical boxes. I did not like the basement here it felt like someone was sitting in one of the chairs just watching us. We worked our way back up to the first floor hall and checked out a small room. Upon coming back we passed a small linen closet and a loud banging and knocking came from inside. We all jumped it was like knocking or loud pounding. Mark carefully opened the closet and it had nothing but empty towel shelves this probably was the highlight of my night. We then proceeded to the 2nd and 3rd floors which had very long hallways and many rooms most with a closet and bathroom, old heater pipes, more fireplaces as well. I noticed nothing out of the ordinary although I did not like the rooms that is where I felt watched from. One door I opened I thought I heard a voice or something of the sorts but to me it seemed like it was the door none the less it felt uncomfortable. We then proceeded to head on out of this dorm and as we were leaving a very large wolf spider was blocking our bath. I never seen a spider that large in the state of NY to me it seemed like a freak of nature. We did scare it off and left the first dorm then walked over to the castle like dorm across the way.

The second dorm was much bigger we entered into the basement area which was all lit up.  I could not help notice all the painting done on the wall, sketches, drawings from college students and kids. One painting was of the pink panther holding a sign saying class of 83. Just so much history and energy put into the walls. This basement was very friendly although as Mark said he felt watched at the other end and so did I.  Ghost will keep their distances usually when they are curious. We went into some of the basement rooms, seen the wooden kitchen, went into a power room with again humming as the power flowed throughout the entire place, and another room with a couple chairs in it. Reminded me alot of the the basement in the other dorm building. We worked our way up into the main hall or first floor. It was calm however their was cold spots and their was many different student rooms one looked like perhaps an office or place for someone in charge since it had a big bathroom, fireplace, etc We walked around and got a feel for it and it looked more like walking down a hospital hallway. The halls were lit but dimly. We made our way to the second floor and I heard whistling inside the dorm the guys heard it also. We explored a few rooms went to the third floor and the higher we went the dimmer it became along with some of the walls being black and some messages on the walls like kill kill kill etc.  We were walking and I passed a room that had a mattress and it seemed like a ritual room. The walls were painted black, the floor, and pentagrams were on the walls and a giant one on the floor with some burnt candle wax. We made our way back up to the dark stairwell and went into the attic. This was a giant attic all wide open with a few side halls with cobble stone like walls. The attic was very hot I looked out the windows at the trees below it was pretty cozy. I did not feel anything up here. We did eventually work our way back to the basement and I turned the corner only to find a wooden figure that looked like it was sitting down at first I thought it was a person or something ghostly till I remember seeing it earlier when we first entered.  I was like wohhh hold up guys but eventually after realizing what it was we headed on out. It was real strange because our way out was jammed tightly and it took me at least 3-4 shoulder thrust to get out of here. Nice little prankster ghost here I learned. We then walked through the woods as I thought about how so many bodies are said to be buried on the grounds of the campus and headed off to the Shredded Wheat Office Building.
