Deveaux College

We drove around for awhile and found this place is alot harder to find then we thought. Since the campus is not located on the road rather it is in a state park and the woods which makes it all the more tougher to seek out. At first we drove around Niagara University and will all the cute girls walking around I almost said lets find where the nearest dorm room party is at lol. But instead we finally drove on out and found where Deveaux college is.

We did a pretty good hike across a baseball field, through some paths in some woods and off in the distance I told Mark I seen a smokestack. It looked old so I figured it had to be part of this old historical college. We did notice some trams parked and when we approached this building it seemed to have some industrial quality. I told Mark it is probably used to heat the dorms or something. We were outside for awhile probably an hour sitting down when something came walking on the other side of the building. Three to Four branches broke and I was not sure what to think I mean some were right out front yet we could not see what it was even with a spotlight. 

We then went inside the building right away seen the giant furnace, water tank, many machines, tools, cabinets and of course a giant pile of paper with beetles crawling everywhere. We made our way around this place through much rubble found it to be a workshop probably a maintenance area or control building for the college. We made our way into the basement and found fuse boxes labeled old dorm, new dorm so it was quite exciting. At this point I heard a noise back upstairs it was a loud bang and a voice could not make it out but it was inside with us. Some reason this place did not make me feel uneasy so we climbed a ladder that went on top of the furnace it was pretty interesting. So at this point we were in the boiler room area. We worked out way back down and outside.

As we walked the grounds we seen a series of many other buildings there is supposed to be roughly 9 on the site. We went to the art gallery and back to one of the oldest buildings which is a school or barn like building and then realized my flashlight was missing. We spent at least 20 minutes looking for it and found it near the building with the smoke stack although I do not remember putting it where it was.

We walked the grounds back and forth and I did this on purpose because something was following us and I knew it was our little friend from before we went into the maintenance building. I mean no matter where we would go there would be crashing sounds in the woods, foot steps, the feeling of being watched and it was very close the whole evening. I did not like being followed so we went to the art gallery looked in the windows which is a newer round building and moved on to the castle like dorm. There is supposed to be 2 castle like dorms however one was missing and there was a parking lot in its place.

We did not get a chance to investigate the dorm area yet which we will probably do in the future as we talked about making plans to look farther into the Hauntings of this place. But as we walked around the building a few times we then headed off into the woods to a giant mansion like building we walked in the back of the woods behind the building and were talking. When again something came crashing through it was  probably less then 30 feet away and we shut our lights off this time and waited. It still kept coming then it stopped in front of us probably 20 feet in distance. My heart was beating this time because whatever it was seemed to really being getting much braver and bold. At that moment I heard 6-7 gunshots very close by that worried me alot. We waited and then moments later a strange car pulled down one of the grassy roads and there was a light shining. We could tell that this place has had some vandalism done to it as in one of the windows we seen graffiti. We decided to head out and come back at a later time since the area is so huge.

We did go and take a few more outdoor photos and found another building back in the woods it looks more like a cafeteria which we did not have time again to investigate. So we decided to head out to our 3rd place for the evening as it was getting very late. What makes this college interesting is it is said that people were buried all over the property and the graves were unmarked and this may be true since I heard 2-3 younger screams coming from the woods throughout the night.

We got into the car drove around to a couple other locations just to get an idea for future investigations and of course we found out how rude and bad some areas are out towards Niagara Falls as some folks shout at you from there cars one guy jumped out towards my van and finally we drove to our final location for the evening.
