Subject: Last Weeks Report 3/30/2004
Deland Public Library
Notice the words PUBLIC lol. I really admire this building it has to be one of the nicest libraries I ever visited and of course not having any phone access for the last 2 weeks I have been able to use there computers so you get 2 nice things lots of great books and a ghost. But this was a hard investigation since for one I can never take photos in the library because its always packed with 100s of people and secondly the building is so large finding the ghost would be very difficult on the property.
Basically what I did is one slow walk around focusing I tried not to miss any inlet, nook or cranny. I walked behind bushes, around trees, in dark corners. Then a guy was following me this did not help my investigation and he looked like trouble. I kept walking and reached a little corner with lots of brush. This area seemed to be active there was alot of cold spots moving, orbs, feelings of being watched so now at this point catching
some things curiosity was known. I reached the back of the library eventually to the other side.
I was focusing on an area with lots of trees and brush actually rather was standing in it almost and the man came up from behind me like he was about to start a fight and I stood my ground grabbed my knife and he took off. You would not think for such a small town that peoiple would start trouble but I suppose you get them anywhere you go so again another obstacle I faced so this is why its always good to have a team of investigators for safety reasons.
I made my way back to the front of the library was walking very slowly turned quickly and snapped a photo of a mass of ectoplasm all along it was following me I just had to devise a way to capture it. After this I was pretty convinced that there is something ghostly here maybe minimal but there is something here. Moments after capturing this
Ectoplasmic mass a cop rushed in rather the Deland K-9 unit like thats necessary along with a second cop car. The second cop car I watched as a officer that was probably no older then 20 years got out I almost fell to the ground laughing. They have kids working the streets of Deland boy do they have alot to learn maybe they should patrol NY.
As they rudely interrogated me on how much I weigh, if I live in a house or apartment, asking me what I am doing despite I showed them my camera and told them I dropped off books they still held me for a half hour trying to find something to arrest me with. Then after standing next to the car for a half hour they released me and could not do a thing. So you see folks again your hard tax dollars at work wasting time on a man taking photos at the public library instead of the
wild man who almost started a fight with me 10 minutes before. After they let me go and told me I am free to go they purposely parked in front of the library and I had to cut this investigation short. This really upset me because I was pretty hot on whatever haunts this library. I could feel it watching me as I walked away I knew if I had another few minutes I could have captured more therefore there will be a second investigation here in the future.
In conclusion to my reports although the Artisan and Deland Library are minimally haunted there is some kind of energy at both places. I think the ghost are very curious at either place but often when people visit the library do they really think about the ghost that are there? Or when someone is partying at the Artisan do they take a moment to think about the little girl who haunts it? So perhaps this is why I was lucky enough to capture something at either place is because I acknowledge there
existence and accept it. I did not get alot of photos at either place just a few but apparitions were captured at both places enough to say that a ghost haunts both places. The downside to it is Deland's boys in blue
harassing me again when they could be arresting all the drunk drivers on the roads at night instead of messing with a man with a camera. I will do second investigations of both places in the future which in turn are likely to produce stronger results. Peace
