Street Station
I
have to say that there is no other city in the world like Orlando. I mean
its the city that never seems to sleep. The problem with that is because
the streets are one big party it really makes it hard to get photos, EVP,
readings etc. You got live bands playing, partying in the streets that are
blocked off, people making out all over, hell even homeless people holding
signs saying why Lie I need a beer lol. Its pretty crazy but still many of
the buildings are historical and have some ghost stories to tell.
I guess the hardest part was I sat in traffic for over an hour just to go
a couple blocks. Its crazy cause you got people driving with there car
doors open, beeping horns, fancy cars with televisions in them, and even
celebrities. Hell when we finally started walking to the station a group
of girls was waving to me out there windows lol so you see guys these
investigations have there perks for all the scaredy cats.
We finally arrived at the station which is not only very old but
historical. It was not to far from a club so it was really a rough
investigation. I mean when people are walking all around you its difficult
to focus but we made due with what we had cause I wanted to visit the old
Sea Board Train Engine and its Cars.
The engine was enormous its hard to believe something that size traveled
on them tracks. Jason took a photo of me in front of it and he climbed it
with people giving us dirty looks. I must had seen about a thousand women
that could grace the centerfold look at us and probably wondered what two
guys are doing on a steam engine and not in the clubs lining the streets
lol.
We walked up to the station and the inside or at least part of it seemed
abandoned with a lot of debris. I could feel various ghost inside the
station not so much outside. We walked up the side of the train and
the train cars were in poor condition but still very well intact just
aged.
The windows had drapes and the doors were locked so we could not hop on
board. On our way back a train was coming towards us on the other track.
It was coming slow and people were still racing across the tracks trying
to beat it.
It went past us as I took its photo and then came to a halt. Well after it
stopped hundreds of people started jumping the train to cross the street
to various night clubs. If you know anything about trains they might stop
but when they start up the jolt is enough to toss someone right under the
wheels so Jason and I watched just to make sure nobody does anything to
foolish. But I should have taken photos cause I have never in my life seen
girls in short skirts and heels climb a train lol hell even some guy on
crutches hopped it. Then I laughed cause we have done quite a few trains
over the last few years on investigations so to us this was mere
entertainment trying to figure out how to get to the other side. One lady
it took 15 minutes for her to do it.
You cannot ask for more during an investigation and in light of things
Jason bought a homeless guy a beer lol. I took a photo but it did not come
out of it but the guy looked like Santa Claus.
We then took a darker walkway around the other side of the station. It
really is such a fascinating place just to visit. But as far as activity
goes it was zero to none between hordes of party animals and a loud train.
The train itself was very eerie I kept feeling as if I was being watched
from the engine although a dummy sat there I think there is more to what
this engine holds.
The train station itself was glowing with energy I could feel them ghost
but I also felt like they were hiding. We finished up the investigation
and went on a long walk to Investigate Orlando St. Lukens Cathedral.
