Celery Fields Of Chapman Road

Their was so much more to this area then I thought. I mean it turns out that this area was more then just a haunted field of vegetables lol. But the area seemed eerie as we pulled down this very narrow dirt road. There was three roads to take so I took the middle one which is said to be a haunted road.

I drove up it and there were a few private houses in the woods and finally an area with giant electrical poles. So I parked between the poles and we got out to start our hike. 

We started off down the haunted road and honestly we did not see any celery fields. There was some areas that had just grass and could have at one time been used for the growth of celery but for the most part the area was well wooded. 

We took this dirt road that twisted and turned in the woods there was a few intense cold spots down here. At times I even felt followed but no bad feelings just alot of energy to the area. We even seen this little side trail off into the woods which was well used.

We came back out on the road originally I was driving on and decided to take a road to the right. About two hundred feet past the gate we found a giant open area which was surrounded by walls of debris, trees, rocks etc it was obvious that either a house use to be here at one time or somebody was getting ready to build something. 

We then hiked back out of their and down the road. On our way up their we noticed a ranch to our right and there was a structure enclosed by barb wire. The structure looked very old as I found an old well, a sign that said Burger & Spirits, and another sign that stated Slavia which is perhaps an old town that borders Oviedo. 

So their are signs that maybe some kind of plantation or farm use to be back here maybe that's why they are called the celery fields and that might explain why others experience children ghost back here cause back years ago the youthful died from diseases like yellow fever. But the structure was old and I had to be real careful cause to get to it I had to squeeze through barbed wire and thorn bushes.

We then got back onto the road where the car was parked and started following the electrical lines. We found a little hidden path surrounded by brush which led us just a few feet away from a large armadillo. This is like the 5th one I have seen since I lived here. I chased him to get a photo and he got away grrrr they are so fast.

Eventually we came around the corner and behold their was a massive lake which got deep pretty quick. We stood on this water drainage structure and took a few photos. The area seemed quite calm except for the sound of water trickling.

Activity really did not pick up much till we started heading back that is when I heard a few voices in the middle of the woods one sounded like a woman and another sounded like possibly a child. I could not make out anything it just sounded like a bunch of voices probably more then anything talking and watching us.

Jason had fell twice so far walking around this area so I am sure they were laughing with me at him hahaha. The second time he fell he stepped in a hole when I shined my light there was some structure made out of concrete built into the ground. Which tells me that something at one time use to be back here what I do not know. 

On our way back to the car we ran into a heavy cold spot this is an area known for the locals to spot a ghost of a man walking with a suitcase. I knew their was a presence and it was close. Then we took a break I sat on the car we let loose for a little bit and took on off to visit Boston Hill Cemetery. The activity was not to high here but their was a little like the voices for example.
