Tonight turned out to be quite a large scale investigation as we investigated quite a few places focusing on the spiritual town of Cassadaga which is the sister town of Lily Dale. Kind of ironic that at one time I was in NY investigating Lily Dale and here I am in Cassadaga it was a real dream come true. I do appreciate those that helped with the investigation and took photos with that in mind we took alot of photos to bring you a nice story this weekend.
Not only is there alot of historical findings with these places but there is some supernatural legends some information from friends and some that been passed on through the years as we investigated the Cassadaga/Lake Helen Cemetery, Colby Lake & Park, Colby Temple, Spirit Pond & Park, Medicine Wheel Park,
Myers Prayer Gardens Park, and finally the Suber Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
I do want to thank John, Joy, Amanda, and Teresa for there help tonight I could not have done these places without them. It was a long night lots of hiking, getting wet from a rainstorm, and even running into others exploring various areas in Cassadaga. Amanda put together some charms for me before the investigation so I want to thank her for the gems as well. We set off in the later part of the evening and so our adventure
begins here.
Cassadaga & Lake Helen Cemetery
We road on up to Cassadaga and it was still early enough yet the entire town was like a ghost town many large houses were dark and there were no cars on the road.
Some houses had Christmas tree lights decorating the outside. Originally this was one of the last places we were going to do however since we were looking for Rev.
Harry Fogols Healing Park and found that it was no more just a baron field we ended up getting side tracked which in turn upon turning the corner the cemetery was staring me straight in the face.
We entered the cemetery and from afar we could see a light flickering the first thing I did however was look for devils chair which we did not find. John sat on a bench but found out quite quickly this was not the bench that is said to hold you down lol. Moments later it started to rain coming down harder each moment. We had John do a rain dance but for some reason it did not stop the rains but made them worst. Since we were far away from any shelter we stuck out the storm dead center of this hilly worn cemetery.
I heard a voice in the woods I do not know what it was but it was close. Other then that the pouring rain really made it hard to see me flashlight was not even penetrating the blanket of rain we were faced with. The group spread out a little and we covered various areas. There was a real dark area that made me very uncomfortable I felt so watched.
We all regrouped then and decided to try looking for Devil’s Chair once again this time however John and I went for a hike in the woods it was quite full of underbrush but we did not find the bench but it was worth the attempt. At this point all of us were soak and wet. I grinned to myself as there is always a first time for my investigators to experience such incidents whether its rain, falling in mud, hail etc but at this point it cooled me down and by the time we made our way to a newer section the rain slowed down.
We walked down a hill and all of us were hit with a cold blast of air. You could feel something moving all around us. All of us felt the cool air and you could see something flowing along us in the flash. We sat there awhile and eventually whatever was with us left because the area became warm again.
We then walked around and noticed some of the vandalized stones in various parts of the cemetery. The condition it was in was poor many of them were just leaning on its side. Amanda also mentioned that she seen something towards the tree line an area I felt watched at.
She said moved perhaps through the trees.
We then walked down the dirt road and it started to turn very woodsy. It had a very eerie setting more then even the cemetery. We realized this road did not cut through to our destination so we turned around eventually heading to our next destination, which was Colby Lake & Park.
