Subj: I AM BACK...Note & Investigation
Report I returned to Buffalo NY October 4th and upon my arrival I noticed not much had change the skies were overcast my first day out there and it was quite chilly. But it felt like being home again as no matter where you looked you seen signs for NY pizza's and Buffalo Wings. I arrived at the Adam's Mark hotel and you can read that report about my visit to Buffalo which did not go so well but none the less I did alot of research to conduct what you would call a ghost walk through the heart of downtowns most haunted places. Those places would include Niagara Square, The Theatre District which is near Shea's Theatre, Franklin Square and Fountain Plaza. Over the years it was apparent that each of those areas had ghost stories. Anybody who is a sensitive could definitely feel the ghost out enough times visiting downtown. There were days you could feel a gloomy or sad feeling. Maybe because at one time the city of Buffalo was burned. But I wanted to do something for the members which was try and bring a little history about Buffalo. This page will be for any members who capture any ectoplasm or apparition shots in the following areas above. Unfortunately this was a two part investigation and I only completed the daytime part of it. I was saving the second part for our group dinner and the evening. So at this point you probably will not see any ghost photos from my current investigation. But I did spend a long time walking down Main street and to various historical places. I even went inside St. Paul's Cathedral and St. Joseph's Cathedral as well just to gain a sense of peace and admire the beautiful architecture. I took a break from being ill and ate a nice breakfast right near St. Paul's Cathedral even that place had a unsettling feeling. Walking around looking at the gargoyles and all the statues gives you a sense that at one time these historical occurrences had happened. All the way from the War Of 1812 to the hanging of the Thayer Brothers to bodies being found when the subway tunnels were being dug up. One way to prove to you downtown is haunted is all you have to do is go back take a look at the USS Sullivan's & Buffalo Naval Park, St Paul's, St Joseph's Cathedral, Buffalo Marina, and Shea's Theatre Investigations. Those ghost photos were all captured in or near downtown. So if that many ghostly photos could be captured downtown then it is apparent anywhere you almost go downtown has a ghost or some form of energy whether it is residual or not. I finished off my peaceful walk down and spent time just trying to put myself in the past such as what was life like at time. Even more so a near by sky scraper a man jumped off and killed himself. Over the years growing up you read about the numerous deaths that have happened. So are there ghost town yes I feel them and they feel me. Some stared at me giving me hostile looks which reminded me of why I moved from such a gloomy sad city. My trip was unfortunately cut a couple days early and I did not get to finish off the investigation. I did want to apologize to my friends who were anxious to do this. But now that you know the history and a little bit of information so many of you are able to do this investigation without me on any night and you probably will come back with some decent photos. I think the hardest part is missing the pizza, wings and them Sabers Games. But my essence I put into Buffalo and it will always be in my eyes one of the most haunted places I ever visited as this my friends is where it all started. Peace, Rick
