Saint Augustine's Bridge Of Lions & Harbor

Its amazing how much in just one year changes with this bridge I drove down it and said where the hell is the towers or lion figures. I was pretty much venting at this point.

I drove around town for awhile it was packed with a xmas festival going on no place to park, horses, carriages, people kissing under the lights, etc it was just mobbed period. I found one very far away so we had to walk on in.

I wanted to focus this investigation on the Bridge but since to many people were out and about this investigation turned to just doing a few different places and combining it all together. Last year we did good in this area and Andrew asked me what to do and I told him lets go check out all the pretty women so what the hell benefits of ghostbusting right?

We started along the historical sea wall some boats were anchored near the restaurant that is on a pier. They were about to close on up so we went over to the harbor which had the famous ferry and some other boats. A group of girls were partying on this one boat like 4 of them lol. I almost gave up the investigation with all the harassment we get from people sometimes you wonder is it all worth while when you could be on that boat sipping a Sicilian kiss enjoying the FL sunshine lol.

I loved the decorated giant boats then we got into how we should have brought our fishing gear serious this is a cool harbor and its historic. We walked out of there and had to jump over bushes and onto a miniature golf course people were staring it was hilarious I almost fell down laughing I mean its like how the hell do we end up getting stuck in these situations.

We got to the bridge the construction was so bad we could not cross the road to walk up it so I told Andrew will take a walk around La Plaza, Old City Gates, Historical Downtown and back around to the bridge. I did have plans to do all those places but with the people forget it I figured I would just take photos for everybody to see on the site.

Downtown was hell it was ass to ass no lie a few complimented me on the tattoos people are pretty cool in this area unlike other parts of FL it just feels right when I am here visiting. We walked straight downtown even seen the cemetery nearby but ghost photos forget it hell as a psychic I did not even sense an orb in the area lol.

I looked in this one tavern they had bar maids dressed like wenches like I said the town lures you in one minute your looking for ghost next you want a wench. We stopped at the old mill for awhile that was actually turning unlike our last visit. I took a few photos but not many in the area.

We made our way back to the bridge and learned the plaque was gone and this was a brand new bridge built. They are restoring it I guess but I do not see how since they have a brand new concrete bridge. The old Bridge of Lions sat to our left with just a few planks and piles of wood with an old tugboat on it.

But then I wondered what happened to all the bridge towers well the left hand side had none but the right did. There was no side walk on the other side of the bridge so getting photos was next to impossible. This concrete bridge we laughed at cause it shook bad I almost felt sick walking over it the cars were rattling it. It just did not feel safe nor was it all done.

We walked back on over to the car and took some photos of some cannons. We then grabbed the gear and head on off to the Old Jail.
