Eastern Daylight Time From: LordOfThyNight@aol.com To: ParanormalBuffalo@yahoogroups.com, Paranormalflorida@yahoogroups.com, ParanormalGhostSociety@googlegroups.com, paranormalghostsociety@yahoogroups.com, ParanormalGhostSocietyConnections@yahoogroups.com, ParanormalGhostSociety@groups.msn.com, TheParanormalGhostSociety@yahoogroups.com, pgsociety@groups.aol.com, SupernaturalFlorida@yahoogroups.com Well Saturday was one of our more intense investigations and of course I try to make them very exciting for some of our fans who been following us through the last few years. We had 6 places planned but ended up only completing four because of a few major obstacles which I will discuss later in the report. I am sorry the report is a little late its been busy the last few days with Valentines Day and all. One of the most amazing things you will find is unlike other paranormal groups we will go to places most will not. Sure we are risk takers we want to bring you the truth whether a place is haunted or has some other unexplained force at work. When you start to do this type of work you start to realize that their are so many places to always see it is almost never ending no matter where you go or live. Saturday was a true test of our commitment and loyal to what we do as we visited Bok Tower &Botanical Gardens, Heritage Park, Monument Park and Ghost Town Of Brewster. It was an exciting long night as we traveled on the road a few hundred miles to bring you this adventure and so our journey into the stormy night begins here. Bok Tower &Botanical Gardens As were on the road we ran into some very heavy rain bands their was some flooding nearing out first destination of our investigations. I was really worried about it raining all night cause I wanted a clear sky to hike around in. The rain does not allow us to always use our cameras, recorders, or listen to ghostly sounds. We pulled up in front of the Bok Tower woods and were at the gates so I drove up this dirt road. But when I tried to turn around to park the car it had gotten stuck. Here we were it was 9:30pm and we were already stuck as it was still sprinkling out. I managed to crank the car through the sand at like 80mph and almost made it to hard ground when the car ending up being buried three feet deep. I did not think about it till now but I should have taken a photo cause I never got a car stuck this deep before. Jason and I spent almost 2 hours digging in the dirt as well as sand. We stuck logs under the wheels and even floor mats but it was a no go and my car was overheating. So I told Jason lets take a break and do what we do best. So we gathered our gear I forgot my new sword I bought Saturday morning and we headed on into Bok Tower. I probably should have called this Bok Grove or Orchard cause when we started to walk down the dirt curvy road their were thousands of fruit trees. Their was row after row it was incredible. Some of them grew so close together or large you could not see what was hiding on the other side. Bok Garden at night is closed up and there was a vehicle that came speeding down the dirt road inside. This vehicle was going 80 mph at least and I made it to safety but Jason was a little farther behind so I am sure whoever was driving the vehicle probably thought they just seen bigfoot running across the road. We started hiking and I would say about four miles off in the distance was this giant tower with a red light on top of it. The tower looked like something you would see in a movie it is very medieval looking. Again that vehicle turned around and started heading back this time it would separate Jason and I for a very long time. Jason ran down a row of citrus trees I was on the other side. As soon as the vehicle had left I started hiking back on the road. I turned around Jason was not with me. Again the vehicle came back down the road speeding I barely made it down another aisle of citrus trees. I had called it into our dispatch and then Jason called me on my cell. We have a lot of neat gadgets for our investigations and trust me they do help like a sidekick, cell phone, someone always back at base to text message or email either of us if one of us gets lost. As I was on my cell phone I heard a stampede and right in front of me three giant beast came out from the grove. I believe they were wild boards. When they ran out in front of me each one was roughly 1000 lbs and yes the ground was thumping as they were running past me. One of them I believe had very long tusk not sure totally could have been something in its mouth. It was obvious that they were eating good hear but also that if I did not stay still or if I was any closer I could have been seriously injured because these three were very aggressive and large. I said to myself why is it I never carry my sword when I see bacon on the run. But in all do serious this goes for all people in Florida these beast can hurt or possibly even kill you. It has crossed my mind that maybe what I seen was 3 skunk apes or a cousin of bigfoot. The reason why I say this is that whatever I seen was big and hopping much like an ape. Rumor has it that some people have seen the skunk apes run on all fours. It was dark they were out front of me but very dark in color and made weird sounds perhaps boar? or perhaps something else? I had to make sure Jason got the message that the boars were heading towards him at least the area we were separated. I know its not paranormal but nonetheless these are the things we encounter on our adventures. At this point I had been hiking by myself in the orchards for about an hour and I had to walk in a vegetable garden, climb a fence, and finally made it to the pond surrounding the tower. Jason was not there so I ended up waiting about a half hour in this area surrounded by giant oaks, benches, and walkways. I felt fairly watched maybe cause I was alone but there was an information booth so I stay near their. The wall to it gave me security kind of like a look out point. My psychic impression was that I felt more then something ghostly here. I felt like maybe something else lurked back here the feeling of being watched was much more intense then usual. Jason came around the bend and we reunited he was a couple miles behind me so I knew I must had been doing some serious hiking to get that far ahead. We ended up crossing the moat so we could walk up to the grave stone at the entrance to the tower and around the tower up close. The door to the tower looked like gold and it was just a massive eerie structure. Of course we could not get in cause its locked down at night it was a really beautiful structure. I felt a ghostly presence playing cat and mouse with us. The water around the tower was gloomy and Jason said there were giant coy swimming in the water. I did hear something thrash in the water earlier so perhaps that is what it was. We then crossed the moat and took one last look at the dragon wrought iron gates cause its more then likely we will never visit such a site again. Then we headed off into the woods to do some hiking into some of the botanical gardens where many benches had plaques. One of the paths we took was a dead end while others seemed to go on one foot path after another. Here and their we seen some flowers or plants but for the most part it was many giant willow trees draping the paths we walked on. I felt a few cold spots and we came out to an area where there was a historical mansion. But with that vehicle driving around we cut the investigation short and decided to head back to the car. This time we took a different way very deep into the orchards probably a mile from the road. We followed it for a couple miles till we ended up in a bunch of backyards of these brand new homes. This was a dead end so we ended up climbing this giant hill of burnt wood, concrete rubble, and plants till we made it into another part of the citrus grove. Then I called up my triple AAA and the dispatcher was rude to me and no help whatsoever as far as getting someone to wench us out of this dirt hole my car was in. Their were areas in the grove that were very eerie but for the most part we did not run into anything to harmful. I thought about eating some oranges my throat was dry and I was tired after about eight miles of hiking. Once again the tower was just a mirage off in the distance. There was some slight movement within the grove. I then called back triple AAA and they sent a tow truck. Meanwhile I spent more time digging out the car underneath. The guy did not have the right truck and could not get back on the road without getting stuck. He tried to back in and he ended up getting stuck also. He tore up the road and eventually he got out of it but he broke his wench, made a five foot deep hole in the ground with his trailer bed, and very large tire tracks. He did call in a different tow truck service and once again we were alone waiting on help to arrive. I came up with an idea to jack my car up which we tried earlier but the jack was broke but this time I played with it and got it to work. I cranked up the car in the front on each side putting a plank, logs, wood, and the mats then lower the car on top. I started the car up and drove about ten more feet and when the wood ran out the car dug a new hole this one burying my entire front end. I could not even get out of the drivers side door. At this time help had arrived and after a wench and towing me out of there we came loose and I was 125$ poorer :::pouts:::: that is one expensive investigation. We took off but it was almost 5 in the morning and we did not quit. We headed on over to a ghost town near by but then when I looked at the hiking trail mileage we just did not have the means at the time to explore the area so we ended up going on to our next location which was heritage park. For anybody who does investigations keep in mind to always be prepared. We were lucky to have food on us and other supplies. But the cold wore us down a lot as the temperatures were in the 30s just seven degrees from freezing so it was pretty rough digging with our hands and shoveling the cold sand. Anyhow we made it out alive drove past one of the hiking areas to a ghost town and ended up taking us out to Fort Meade's Heritage Park. |
