Townline Lutheran Cemetery is nestled back behind a German Lutheran Church. It would seem most people buried here were members of this church or some of the earlier settlers of the Alden/Lancaster NY Area. Some of the stones are weathered they lean or you cannot read the words on them. The most eerie feeling comes from the oldest area which is the back of it which is by the woods. The cemetery is very odd there are no trees in it, no candles lit, no wreaths or fresh flowers. Its almost as if this cemetery is no longer visited or recognized although there were a couple new headstones. I do not have much history on this cemetery however for its size it seems to contain more then one ghost.
