The mansions surrounding the monolithic castle on hill still remain unknown. The oldest mansion on the property was Alta Vista which back I believe in 2000 it was burned down by some teenagers. There is at least 6 standing mansions and houses on the hill and a few foundations hidden in the woods. Definitely what I do know is these houses are all from the 1800s some of them look like haunted houses you see from some of your famous horror flicks. The mansions seem to now be used to hold all the furniture left over from when Mac Fadden's castle shut down. There are 2 mansions which tower way above the trees including one that has 4 floors. The basements are made of old bricks and stones large furnaces and one mansion has 6-8 rooms per floor that are huge. The old wood stairwells and Victorian doors give it a European feel. One house has a very old tub remaining another an old desk. Who lived in these mansions and why were they not preserved? They are absolutely gorgeous and some parts are still very preserved inside them. Over the years people have vandalized them by breaking out the windows, spray painting, most likely stealing as well however it does seem that each mansion holds more then one ghost and they all seem to be very content remaining there since most apparitions that were captured on our first trip were either smiling or paying no mind to us. But what I am curious about is who is the blonde haired lady with the blue eyes and heart pendant and who is the man standing in front of her with the same heart pendant? Why do these apparitions choose to remain here? Were these mansions used to house the maids, food servers, and the Mac Fadden Castle owners? Each house each mansion has a history one with kids growing up in them, people passing away, maids saving fresh towels in the closet, or cooking in the old stoves in there kitchen. Each mansion at one time was gracious has fires burned in there fire places and people sat around the fire telling stories. All that remains is a haunting of the past. This investigation is very special to our organization since many apparitions were caught on film not because it was an accident but because they are happy, friendly, and want the company just like 100-150 years ago hospitality, respect, and nobleness still meant something. Sit back and imagine how horses brought people in carriages to these mansions or how the lady of the house would rock on one of these mansions porches sewing a blanket before winter came. Or how the owners of the castle throughout the years lived in them as they worked so hard to make the castle a success as many famous guest would visit there over the years including an ex-president and Susan B Anthony. It is true that history repeats itself you will understand why here.
