The Ramada inn on Lundy's Lane is located right next to the Lundy's Lane Cemetery. Which according to Patrick Cross From Burlington ghost hunters there was a hospital for the War of 1812 soldiers where now the hotel stands. It seems apparently on the 200 room side the hallway that runs along the side of the cemetery there is apparitions that are seen in and out of the walls, cold spots, orbs, and you can feel an occasional bayonet stab you. The cemetery is just down the road from Drummond hill cemetery which anywhere around the Lundy's Lane cemetery battles were fought with stabbing, shooting, cannon fire and very fierce fighting.. The cemetery is very large obviously almost 200 years old. The trees probably were there when a battle here was being fought some are large very eerie looking. The cemetery has that old school effect a big monument in the front made out of round cobble type of stones, some colonels or generals seem to be buried there as well from the war of 1812. Most stones are very old school looking tall and flat, or round and low to the ground lots of candles lit as well there. Most of the soldier headstones seem to be on the Ramada Inn side of the cemetery. Although much of the Battle took place on Drummond hill this cemetery is not far from it so there was some battling that occurred since ghostly gunpowder's can be smelt. Most bodies lay on the battle field and this was the battle of Lundy's Lane which later war veterans used it for tours. Then in the late 1800s most of the cemetery was over grown until one of the local churches and historical society cleaned it up. However it was made into a cemetery because over the years bones of soldiers were found which I may be wrong but most of the bones that were found were mixed and put into a vault which is now the tall monument that stands in front of the cemetery. The cemetery when walking in it makes you feel as if you are living in the 1800s very old looking as I said lots of crooked spiny tall trees, wreaths, candles lit it truly is a place to just walk around one late night and try to imagine the battle that occurred at this historical location.
