Woodland
Complex
This is a find by Jason and we did not realize its size till we actually
got on inside to explore this place. Its actually close to my house so
that was also beneficial to our investigation.
We went on inside the front door which right away I could tell it was a
restaurant there was a giant stove sitting in the middle of the room with
a broiler. The floors were all checkered nothing major to see but we have
not really done many abandoned restaurants.
As we went down the hall there was a door that said TJ pawn again a giant
room with all walls stripped so the offices and halls were all wide open.
Jason opened one door which led to these iron gates and outside.
We left the pawn shop and then things became interesting as we came across
two side by side apartments. The first one was really disgusting it had
dead roaches all over two inches a piece on their backs. This was an empty
apartment but you could tell it was dirty.
The signs all over the place were interesting also like keep out, or no
trespassing, or stay out of my stuff, or you have so in so date to vacate
etc. all written in marker.
The second apartment was much cleaner a box of jiffy muffin mix was still
in the cupboard. The rooms were so empty with there colored walls and one
room had a crawlspace. No telling why this complex was empty perhaps it
was sold out or is going to be demolished for something else. There was
one message on a cupboard saying stay out and stop unpacking everything I
pack lol.
The last apartment was quite nice perhaps the complex managers apartment.
This had a nice series of shelves in the living room, two bedrooms,
kitchen and bathroom. I noticed it was the cleanest out of them all except
for a little dust pile. It had sliding glass doors leading to a patio as
well.
Out back was a storage shed, basketball hoop and some old garage. We
explored them nothing was to exciting here more spiders and webs. Its very
possible whoever owned the complex also ran a workshop. Jason said
perhaps a lock smith the fridge in there was crawling with roaches and
there was vices in one room and brand new fencing being stored here.
The whole area was very overgrown by brush and condemned. Does not seem
anybody is doing anything with the complex. Whether its haunted or not I
had a hard time getting a read on this place I think I was more worried
about vagrants staying inside here.
This was more like an urban exploration I will however review the photos
for any signs of anomalies. I was pretty tired at this point when I went
fishing I cut my foot open on an oyster bed so I was feeling it at this
point.
Jason celebrated the evening by ripping his shirt in a rusty window so at
this point I knew we were back in business. We could however use more
investigators and I am having truck problems so I am going to have find
another driver for a few months that way we can bring you all these
wonderful stories each week. Things should start picking up for us as far
as investigations go.
Peace
