The Wisconsin home at one point in time was another old historical home with creaks and strange sounds. When I first moved out to Deland I always use to pass by this house telling everybody man that house is eerie. It was in habited at the time but still very neglected perhaps even an eyesore as the paint was chipping and the drapes always covered the windows.

Eventually the house recently became abandoned and I got my wish to check it out. The house was marked for demolition for a few months with spray paint so if were to investigate it we had to do it soon.

Like most old houses this one had the old lamp fixtures, an attic, steep wood stairs, etc so we were in for a real adventure. But upon entering we understood why the home was being demolished. Almost all the floors were gone we had to venture on the wood beams upstairs and downstairs carefully without falling and possibly getting injured.

I wondered why this happened and how the entire house could be ripped apart. Even the shed was ransacked with junk everywhere. The house had a broken rocker upstairs, overturned couches, debris scattered on the property, broken windows etc. It made me curious to wonder if the owners did this or perhaps vandals.

It just was not a friendly place it actually had a gloomy feeling to it as the walls were dark brown and had that old musty smell to it. Its one of these houses where every corner has a surprise. Unfortunately when I was away in Las Vegas the city demolished the home and all that remains is grassy knoll.
