Westview Historic Cemetery

Upon entering this place really was exciting. This is one of the very few cemeteries in Florida that have a European look. There was a reason why I chose to investigate this. But I will not get into that till I do my prologue write up later this week. But lets just say it was more then a cemetery at one point in time.

Unlike St. Monica their were various roads that led to various places in the cemetery. The cemetery also had walkways some of them led to various crypts. We found one vault from the 1800's that the top was smashed and the coffin was missing inside. From my research their is roughly over 4,000 burials and surprisingly the cemetery was not that large so many stones were very close together.

We came to one part of the cemetery and the stones were sprouting out at steep angles. One looked like it was growing out of a tree trunk. Some parts of the cemetery were well lit with lights. Most of the stones here were pioneers from the 1800's.

We found this one crypt made out of giant stone rocks and epitaphs written on stone all the way around it. The place just had a very gloomy feeling.

We eventually hiked further back into the cemetery their was a new section so we turned around. We mainly wanted to focus on the historical sections of the cemetery. We did find one section that was strictly infants and children. Many of them died from illnesses like yellow fever or other diseases which back then their was no cure for.

I did hear some movement briefly in the cemetery especially something up in the trees above us like we were being followed. But I think the one thing that stood out more then anything is that their was a very few major cold spots. I could reach my hand out and actually feel the spiritual energy. Something seemed to be staying with us for awhile.

I remember feeling as if something touched me so I turned around and snapped a photo. Then it became ice cold around us. I do not think we were alone but I do think that the activity here was fairly minimal. The average person might go in at night have a horrifying experience I am sure cause its a really spooky cemetery but for us it was pretty minimal your typical cold spots, a noise here and their, feeling watched etc but at this point we both were starting to get fatigued so we just walked around took some photos.

We also came across this structure with a tiled roof I can imagine that funeral ceremonies are held here. The one thing though I enjoyed most is the variety of stones their was one grave made out of cobble stones just as another one was made out of bricks. Its a really old cemetery with a lot of history and I believe this will be the cemetery where I get some Ectoplasmic photos just because the energy is just so high here.

The sign for the cemetery was on the ground sadly unlike the other cemetery near by where it was written on these giant Roth Iron Gates surrounded by a stone wall.  We eventually went outside the very rusted iron gate which at first would not open. We did not stay long since I have plans to return to both cemeteries. I will be studying the photos and EVP very carefully here since the cemetery is very significant to the area.

We then moved onto the Bronson Mulholland House & The Putnam Historic Museum.
