Volusia Memorial Park is probably one of the largest cemeteries in Ormond Beach harboring many Volusia counties permanent guest. The cemetery seems to date back to the 1920s and has quite a few Mausoleums.

I do not have much other history to it so hopefully some members will come forth with further information.

Some of the highlights within the cemetery are a giant stone cross, a giant monument, and a memory garden. Their is a funeral home in the cemetery as well. Lots of the burials are world war veterans and many deaths seem to be from car accidents here.

The place is so well taken care of with flowers almost at every stone that the presence of anything ghostly is extremely minimal here. I will not say nothing of a ghostly nature is here but this is a good place to show others that the activity is much less then some place out on a dirt road that is vandalized.

I would say their are a few thousand stones here easily many of them are veteran burials and we did notice at least four fresh burials which always sends chills down your spine.
