The Northern Part of the Mokelumne River is called the Tiger Creek Run which is also the area of a dam, power plant and reservoir. It is a scenic wonder being so close to Jellystone National Park near the town of Pioneer/Pine Grove. 

Personally myself I did not take enough photos but took enough to give you some incite on this place. The area is known for its white water rapids as it sits in a deep canyon with many rock formations. 

The area has almost every fresh water fish species known to California which is rare because some creeks only have trout but this has everything Pike, Catfish, Salmon, Trout and many other species some I never even heard of.

Its really not a tourist spot only the locals really know about it and alot of them come up here just to swim or hike. I feel its a good starting point when Bigfoot searching. Its secluded...woodsy...alot of water...rock formations etc an area I plan on working with more in the future when I can get back to CA.

Click Here: Electra Road Run PG&E owns around 240 acres which includes the reservoir and 800 acres or rather almost 3 miles of Tiger Creek with its confluence of the North Fork in the Mokelumne River. Between the power company and California BLM the make up of Tiger Creek is a combination of both. It is really nice that its all opened to the public.  PG&E also owns 6 miles of river bed along the North Folk Between Tiger Creek and the Electra Power House. So it definitely is very vast and of course if it were not for the rapids and water the area would have no power for towns like Jackson, Sutter Creek, Pioneer, Pine Grove and even Volcano.
