The Casements

We parked outside the giant rod iron gates and the Casements grounds were lit up including the entire mansion. I mean just looking at the place had an eerie feeling as each room either had a lamp on or lights. The way to describe this place would be to say its alive.

Tanya stayed behind and I took some photos near a little docking area along the river where perhaps at one time a boat would dock near the Casements or maybe ferry. Then I went inside the rod iron gates and wow you could just feel watched out the windows.

But I did not feel alone. I notice along the side of the mansion was very overly active in activity then when I walked on the dark back side of it where there was some memorial plaques and stone benches it was more peaceful. Although on the back side I felt as if something was standing under one of the trees just watching me. Its just that feeling you get in the pit of your stomach when you run into something paranormal and you stare each other down for that brief second.

I walked back along the side entrance and mansion staring up at the upper windows. I could feel entities excited that I was there just for them a very welcoming feeling. Then I walked under this giant low hanging willow tree took some photos of the front of the building.

I think basically I was intrigued with the structure itself and the fact that a plaque said John D. Rockefeller on it.  So that just tells you right there the age and historical significance of this place.

I then walked around on the grounds up to a stone wall and there was a memorial on a rock. I could not spent much time on the grounds because the sprinklers were going off and I was getting soaked just my luck eh? But I did walk up to the memorial to take a photo and along the wall for a little bit.

I could not spend much time here due to various reasons I mean its a very ritzy type of mansion and tourist attraction so its well maintained and watched. But I really enjoyed all the old dimly lit lamps on the grounds, cobble stone type of walls, and the mansion itself is really unique looking I believe a few floors high.

I then left and took some more photos near the water and noticed that I was followed to the car. This was a place with many intelligent type of entities but more so friendly the type that will walk with you perhaps a little cautious because they seemed to be watching over the Casements as at first they were stubborn with me or hot and cold as far as photography goes.

Finally after visiting here I could close off the night with the Ormond Plantation.
