Today I decided to set off on another investigation and adventure. I sure am exhausted and hope to spend the next few days preparing for Saturdays trip. But these investigation recently we have are very important to the area I live and today's adventure really captivates how hard we work to bring you these stories and photos.

James and I ventured on off to the Stark Plantation a third time and an old pioneer cemetery as the sun went down. Our main focus of this trip was not to capture ghost or bigfoot on film let alone paranormal evidence but to seek out the plantation house and the cemetery was just a bonus for the evening.

We set off before the sun went down and I would say it was an adventurous few hours of hiking. Perhaps tonight's trip even gave us some closure to the fate of the Stark Plantation as everything looks different during the day as opposed to the night.

Stark Plantation (Investigation 3)

We once again parked near the dirt road and started hiking up it when a jeep came up behind us. There was a group of people mudding from afar just having a good time. I noticed to my right a fresh futon couch bed. I also noticed some bricks embedded into the dirt road.

As I was walking I kept an eye out into the woods for any sign of a mansion in the woods.  As we kept walking we pulled away from the vehicles by the rail bed and muddy pit. James told me he seen a boy 13 years old in a green shirt that was telling me the plantation house is far back but for us not to go to far because we could get lost. He also told him that the house was reddish with a white roof. Moments later we found a big red gate a mile down the rail bed along the tree line.

There was also this area where there was large concrete type of stone and bricks. Its possible it came off of this plantation. Some of the debris I have found here is very old and scattered. I just see signs that perhaps at one time or another something was here as the junk during the day is much more visible.

James and I walked fairly far till we reached a small housing community along the tracks. There was kids playing and we did not go past there although there was woods the ghost told him that its far back behind the red gate we found. So I took a new trail the guys and I missed Saturday night.

This was a fairly clean trail and times there was a little brush and eventually along it we found some stone and roofing. I do not even know if there is some connection to the plantation. But this path was different then the rest it was in a pine forest for one and much more spaced out.

We took a few different paths and eventually it came out near where we found the abandoned beat up jeep. I knew this because I seen the cooler on the side of the trail. We tried to take a few different paths one of them was blocked with this rotted tree I would have loved to take it further but the sun was going down.

So we took the trail back to an area where there is barbed wire and it splits into three ways. I could not feel anything ghostly back here but it still even during the day had a foreboding feeling. I mean every trail within the stark tract is different such as ecosystems, how narrow it is, length, amount of light etc.

Not to far away from there I seen a bunch of old plates and cups as if they came out of a china cabinet mixed in with newer mugs. I do not know if maybe they were taken from the plantation or not. I mean very few know about this place but the ones that do I am sure would perhaps take advantage of what was left behind.

We came out into an open field near some power lines which led uphill to a fenced in area. I looked up the hill and seen something white looked like a house between the trees. Oh I was getting so excited seeing that thought maybe I found it. We must had walked a half of mile up this hill hearing the power lines making a humming noise.

To our right we came across a giant ranch there were horses just grazing around. I then realized that if we would have kept going on one of the trails that one area that looked like swamp was actually the border to a giant grassy knoll. I could see the giant wall of brush far off the in the distance. Even on the ranch there was a giant wooden barn all collapsed maybe it was part of the plantation I do not know.

The house I thought was a plantation turned out to have a few new cars in front of it and this may be it since it looked very colonial and old. Its possible that it was restored or maybe that's not it at all but still it was interesting to see a house in the middle of nowhere.

James said the boy still was walking with us and he was telling me things that the ghost was saying. I tested him and it seemed right on about what the ghost was saying about the plantation and area. He was saying things only I knew about the area to James so I was pretty pleased to have this unseen traveler with us.

We took this dirt road which went into the woods it was hilly, very wide, and had alot of odd turns in it. As we took it we pulled away from the power station which is just this giant fenced in area with a bunch of electrical poles and transformers.

As we came up to the road we came up to an old shed further down there was a new house. The shed was rusted but it had age to it unlike the house as if it was there long before. The long driveway to the house while a dirt road took us to an area with a few houses way off in the distance.

I walked along this one field and off in the distance was a barn which looked very old like it was falling apart and two water towers which were very rusty. The water towers had to be very old along with the barn. To the right of that was another barn it had no walls just a very long structure with a bunch of old beat up cars and junk surrounding it. James said the ghost said to him we found it.

I do not know how true this is but this seems to fit the bill a wide open area behind the trails we were hiking on near the woods. If it was a plantation it had to have a clearing where animals and crops could be grown. The land seemed to be the property of perhaps a house way off in the distance but I can assure you that this is the closest thing which fits the bill. I walked further up the road and seen what appeared to be an abandoned house but it was newer with some boarded up windows.

After a few photos we headed on back it was a very long journey back to the car. We had to take the dirt roads leading back out to a trail in this field and just follow the power lines to the rail bed. Then we had to take the rail bed all the way back to the car.

As the sun was going down you could feel the area starting to grow perhaps in activity as if those things that go bump in the night were starting to already come out.  I just do not know how to explain this area but I am drawn to it visiting it a few times already. Maybe its something in the woods bodies? Treasure? Ghost? or maybe the plantation house I do not know but something is out there I can feel it calling to me.

We did progress though I mean we found a couple new trails, some old barns and sheds. We found a clearing as well where the plantation could have been and the water towers. This is a huge area and anything can be in them woods. Will there be a fourth investigation its a good possibility here. We will have to wait and see what Lee has to say with the new information he gets on the plantation.

You will not see paranormal photos from this third investigation unlike our second trip Saturday night up here. But what you will see maybe is some closure of new finds to the area and things of of that sort while on our journey here. We then headed on off to Euclid Pioneer Cemetery.
