St. Augustine Old Village
We drove for awhile down some very quiet single lane streets near the Old Village. Also drove near the Lightener Museum which we almost investigated because this place is a castle indeed. But eventually I decided to save that for next time so Aaron and I got out started walking the
Victorian colonial area of St. Augustine.
We approached the Old Village which had a giant wall and rod iron gates at the entrance. This place looked eerie it had stay out written all over it. It had the type of feeling that was not so nice here. Before we entered the guys we seen at the lighthouse happened to drive past us and stopped us.
They then both got out and we started talking about the paranormal. It just so happens to be they do not live to far from me. We gave them a card and they hopefully will contact us. They told us that they had something weird happen to them back by the lighthouse as well. What really amazes me is how there are so many likeminded
individuals out there its just a matter of finding them or them finding you. They were cool guys though.
Aaron and I then entered the old village which is a series of many houses surrounded by a wall all the way around with cobble stone walkways, statues, gardens, and early pioneer artifacts. There was this one house we seen tipped at an angle, then another with giant porches on it, while another had all these columns in front of it.
The place was what it was very eerie. The cold did not let down here and I felt as if no matter where we went there was ghost. We kept walking around with each twist and turn brought more excitement. Then we came up to a barn or shed as I started to walk in it a motion light came on.
Aaron and I also visited this courtyard area and there was these very old sculptures which he was lusting over lol. Then some man walked along the courtyard wall on the outside. He was only 8 feet away and did not notice us. But we still both got startled he probably just thought we were ghost as he was walking pretty fast lol.
There were alot of mixed feelings in the old village. You could actually pick on on the fact that perhaps each house has tales of life, death, love, and even tragedy. Aaron seen something look at us out the window here of one of the houses. At times I felt watched and so far St. Augustine really unleashed its force of the supernatural upon us.
The feeling inside these walls was like a trapped type of emotion. It was so
overwhelming here lots of ghost and lots of secrets. Eventually we left the
vine covered paths and twisted trees among all these colonial houses and visited our next location which was Fernandez
Llambias House.
