Sea Pines Memorial Cemetery was erected for all the Veterans around the Edgewater area and their families. I do not have alot of history on the cemetery the reason is very simple the cemetery is new. It is very well kept every grave is a flat stone with a flag and flowers. Their are no statues, fancy crosses, monuments, fancy stones with photos etc its just what it is a memorial cemetery.

The first burial was in 1962 was a man named Titus Shawver then in 1967 a family plot with the name Scully. Strange enough no burials would take place till then in 1982 of a man by the name of Underwood Hubert  then came an infant by the name of Jennifer Gillmore. Almost the entire cemetery is full of family plots some family names pop up six to eight times. Many of the plots here have been already purchased and are awaiting burials of the elderly.

I would say their is about twenty burials from the 80s and easily a couple hundred in the 90s. So the cemetery did not become active till a decade later.

The nicest site within the cemetery is the Greek Temple like structure which is a Mausoleum if their is any type of supernatural activity it would be within here. The cemetery was called Sea Pines cause of its close proximity to the Halifax River and the fact that the entire cemetery is surrounded by pines which is quite a rare find in parts of Florida.
