The Roberts was built around 1953  in the historical area of Deland. An area that is full of many large homes dating back to the 1800s. I do not have alot of history on the home itself accept that at one time back in the 1970s hippies resided there then from that time and on some older people lived there till the Roberts took ownership of the house.

As far as who owned it before the 1970s I do not have that information. The house has been rumored to be haunted by the owners and family residing there. There are tales of a ghostly man glowing blue, voices being heard, rattling of shelves and other strange phenomena. Over the years many new renovations have been done to the home perhaps stirring up activity like a pool and extra room. 

There also seems to be alot of cats surrounding the home and most of them look around in there daze as if something is there in front of them we cannot see. The house has an eerie attic but even more so a underground area under the home. Their is also a tree in the backyard that is minimum two hundred years old which broke in half while the Roberts were in there pool. Lucky the tree fell the other direction cause it caused alot of damage when it came crashing down. 

The house does have a very dismal atmosphere you can almost feel watched from the back patio doors, or like something is lurking room to room trying to escape. My opinion of the home is that many different spirits lurk around the property perhaps relatives of the past or perhaps this house  holds even a more darker secret?
