Providence Baptist Cemetery
 
Providence Cemetery seemed to be harder to find then I thought. We took a road near where we seen the sign but that was not it. Donna was doing a little offroading as these back roads were narrow....full of sand....grass and bumpy.
 
At first we became startled there was a young boy just standing by the road in the dark....then when we turned around that boy was walking with another down the dirt road in the pitch dark. This area was secluded just trailers....ranches....in the middle of nowhere.  So we thought that was a little odd but the locals have nothing else to do at night just walk around.
 
We found our way back to the road went about another mile up and finally found the right roads.  We took this dirt road which went a couple miles in very thick woods. It came out to a ranch way off in the distance but you could also see the dimly lit church across one of the cow pastures.
 
This place was secluded not only was it a rough road to get here but it was rural so we had the entire place to ourselves. When we got out of the car all I could hear were bulls and cows mating. They had to be because they were screaming and making sounds I never knew cows made before sorry but no moos last night.
 
So after walking around the cemetery hearing this go on the whole time I could not wait to get out of there serious. Imagine trying to look for ghost and all you hear is cow sex. I also heard something else an unknown animal behind the back of the cemetery where there is woods maybe another weird sound by one of the cows who knows.
 
By this time I found out where the comet was in the sky. Donna and I looked at it for awhile she is lucky cause she has a telescope something I need to invest in. Every star was out I never seen so many before serious just like a planetarium.
 
The cemetery did not appear to be very old in the front sat the church and a small school house. The graves were very spread out most of them new and a few perhaps from a century ago. There was a few that were the size of my fist with no markings as well.
 
I noticed that a lot of the burials here were of children which always saddens me to see. There was also on the property a lot of things scattered...baseball bats...volleyballs etc so they obviously school the younger kids in the area private schooling probably. Imagine having to take your kids down a rough dirt road to go to school.
 
Donna told me she felt something pull on her hair at this cemetery I assume a child perhaps. I went off on my own for awhile I went to the back of the cemetery and all of sudden a few cows stood up and starting running. I spooked them I was going to pet them but they ran which is unusual because most places I visit they will come right up to you. I was hoping to find some magic mushrooms you never know lol.
 
I am not sure all of the were cows I think a few were bulls because the one started shuffling his feet looking at me then he started to charge. I was not going to trust that fence so I just quickly walked away before we had a bull running around the cemetery. Oh man can you imagine a  bull running around the cemetery and I am waving my shirt...and Donna is running for her life hahaha. So yeah now we had it all going on comet over head.....pissed off bull...cows mating....and hair pulling ghost talk about one hell of an investigation.
 
We started to wrap up things and before I left I noticed a confederate soldiers grave. I also noticed that the old section of the cemetery sat close to the church and was 20 graves all close to one another.
 
I walked to the front of the church took a photo....looked around the area and we headed on off. I bet some of them people living out here have some strange tales it was a secluded place. We then moved onto Union Grove Cemetery.
