St. Augustine Historic Park (Plaza De La Constitucion)

This was the final place of the night and I purposely planned it out this way so that way we could go to the park and just have some fun. The park earlier had sprinklers throughout it so we were not able to investigate it. We noticed many taxi cabs were parked inside the pick up area.

Eventually a vehicle passed by us throwing fireworks out there window. Why someone would throw fireworks out the window at this time of morning beats me. But we walked around the park taking photos. We noticed there was a giant Ponce DeLeon monument and a civil war monument. There was also many cannons throughout the park, a well and cannon balls.

The most active area in my opinion was perhaps the gazebo which sits in the center of the park. But there is alot of history to the park since it sits right near the Spanish Village and St Augustine Old Village there is alot of energy to the entire area. The park overlooks the Cathedral Basilica and many of the areas we investigated.

The sun was very close to rising so we were just wrapping up our investigation walking on the sidewalk when a young female cop pulled along side of us asking us what we are doing and why we are out at 5am walking around. Then we got into this big discussion on haunted places in the area, and ghost tours, and I showed her my digital camera. She ran our id's but was real nice girl.

I was kind of a little upset by it though because all night long we visited various locations never had a problem then upon getting ready to head home walking on a sidewalk we get stopped and questioned.  After she was done she told us if we wanted we could finish doing what we were doing or checking out the park. But the sun was almost up so it was time to head home since we were very far from home.

I also got video footage from our encounter with the police. I did not get all of it but I did get some of it for others to look at and see which will be on our Paracomedy page in a couple weeks.

In conclusion to tonight's report as you can see it was quite an intense all out effort investigation. We started off with the Lighthouse and ended it in a historical park. It was almost a perfect night lots of activity, a gibbous moon out, clear skies, and a perfectly planned out investigation.

We will most likely return to these places a second time and from our investigations we found many new places to explore as well in future visits.  Our investigation of St. Augustine was perhaps a milestone for The Paranormal & Ghost Society but it also was a privilege to be able to walk around a city from the 1500s something very few get to do. Not only was this a huge historical investigation but it also gave us a chance to share with others our findings and reveal the truth of one of the oldest cities in the nation.

It was a long drive home and Aaron was out cold snoring. By the time I arrived home it was time to go to work. So I have not gotten around to sending out articles. Due to all the history and analyzation of the photos it may take a couple weeks before the updates from this stellar investigation are up. We hope you will appreciate the hard work that we have put into this because St. Augustine has alot of ghost which we worked very hard to reveal. A dream came true and now I can share it with you. In my opinion this has to be one of the most haunted cities I ever visited.
Peace,
Rick
