I like to call this Pierson Cemetery since the Pierson family is buried here and of course the town was named after them however the true name of this little cemetery is Ebenezer Lutheran Cemetery. The cemetery was erected in 1885 and the land for it was given to be used as a cemetery by Nils Pierson.

This is one of the most well lit cemeteries I have ever been in the entire cemetery is lined with many spotlights and street lamps throughout it so getting paranormal photos would perhaps seem like such a challenge however I realized that this would be a good chance to show to the members of our group that it can be done.

The cemetery contains about 100 stones strangely enough all of them are very symmetrical row by row. Like most Lutheran cemeteries this was is very plain you will not see angels, statues, stones with Masonic work. Most stones either state mother, father son, sister etc.. Unlike our previous two cemeteries this one was joyous and peaceful. This cemetery is well kept almost every stone had flowers near it and there was not an ounce of vandalism here. As a paranormal investigator when  you walk into such a place it really makes you smile because as a psychic the happier the ghost are generally the more cooperative they are to you taking photos of them.

A strange fog looms around this cemetery it seems to roll in very fast and I notice move around alot paranormal or not I thought to myself wow how eerie it is with an Eclipse going on, fog rolling along the ground, and being in such seclusion. Amanda said she felt very uncomfortable with whatever was outside of the cemetery rather it seemed what was inside the cemetery was pleasant even on a few occasions in my flash I could see ectoplasm slowly moving towards me. So during the investigation I took a series of shots as I slowly walked backwards having various entities follow me back to the car.

I felt at such peace here and if there was a cemetery to spend the night in this would be the place not an ounce of corruption, evil or discomfort here only warmth. I say this because you will notice a difference in photos from a vandalized cemetery as opposed to a cemetery that is well kept and visited often.

Strangely enough this was the 3rd cemetery in the area that contained members of the Minshew family. However these family members were very recent burials so to my surprise many of the early pioneers of Barberville and Pierson were buried here but not just those from the 1800s but some who lived in the 20th century such as more recent generations of the Minshew Family.  So again this cemetery has connections to other cemeteries in the area. However unlike others in the area this one has no Civil War Confederate Soldiers.

A little wooden shed that seems to be very old sits within the cemetery other then that the large oak trees give it an eerie feeling. Like most Lutheran cemeteries I been to this one was not a let down either. This cemetery contains alot of Pierson's early settlers and now we must question if they are permanent guest at this cemetery which sits on a hill.
