Subj: [ParanormalFlorida] Last Night's Investigation Report

Last night was a really big investigation but an important one as we headed out to Orlando to investigate some very historical locations with years worth of ghostly tales. I was sort of like a kid in a candy store and perhaps being so excited or side tracked led me to focus on other things lol but last night was more about seeing these places and getting our psychic impressions at each site which will be used in future investigations when we return.

Last night we visited places like Orlando Sunland Hospital, The Downtown Theatre, Orlando's Lake Eola Historic Park, The Orlando History Center, Orlando Historic Greenwood Cemetery and topped off the night with The Drawdy-Rouse Cemetery.

It was a pretty long night we did alot of walking around, feeling out energies, cold spots and things of that sort and taking photos for our prologue pages. Lee did quite alot of EVP recordings as well so lets hope we get something. I felt more or less each place to be serene and that perhaps alot of the stories that been handed down are over exaggerated. So this is why we chose to set out to them basically to get our take. 

It was a very warm night it felt like it was summer and the moon was out bright plus a large event was going on in Orlando Downtown so things got quite crazy last night and so our adventure begins here.

Orlando Sunland Mental Hospital Site

We took a road to get here which was gated and made us go all the way around so that was alot of fun but eventually we found the entrance onto this 328acre property. It seemed quite in use as there were many cars around and quite a few lit buildings with a directory which stated the use of each including a correctional facility off to the back which security chased us in there car and told us we cant be driving around near which was funny because we were turning around to begin with. After a little while of driving we found a start off point where we could investigate.

When we stepped out of the vehicle Lee and I heard what sounded like voices around us. I also heard some movement as if we were being followed to the hospital property. Lee and I studied the directory lots of buildings stood most seemed fairly new but a couple were probably left standing from when the mental hospital once stood. 

We stayed along the woods and there was a strong presence following me to the left. It was curious but seemed very very cautious maybe like a child.  We walked up to a broken pipe in ground then cut into some pretty thick woods leading us to the child juvenile center which was like a fortress despite that its no longer in service. There was double fences, razor wire etc pretty interesting.

We took the backside through some tall grass behind the center and the activity here seemed to be the strongest. There was a much more advanced entity and quite a few times I seen it in the flash however on my digital it did not show up quite odd but the conditions last night were just not right for capturing energy.  Lets put it this way I seen a head and arms out in front of me.

But the one thing that stood out is a small palm tree near us started shaking really bad yet there was no wind and it was not an animal it was like all the branches were moving and everything. We also nearby found a very flat area which gave us signs a building stood back here in the woods. I did notice that there were certain areas that were cooler and I felt watched. In the distance we heard kids they were pretty close perhaps in one of the near by residence just outside the grounds.

Lee and I followed the tall fence and walked all the way around we seen a strange light on in the juvenile center we thought that to be quite odd. It just had that eerie feeling imagine an abandoned prison in the woods that is sort of what this was like. 

We walked along the woods to a bunch of buildings Lee and I could not help notice the concrete blocks found in the woods. It was apparent that many structures either once stood or were removed and all that remained was a few small remnants. 

At this point it was peaceful not even any orb photos but the presence of something was pretty close by very cautious maybe because so many other groiups and people hang out here perhaps causing problems. We took a dark road and found a few buildings including what once use to be a filled in pool.

Lee and I stood there and watched the playground area where once the hospital once stood. He thought he seen a janitor type of figure in the gazebo. I think it was the tree moss blowing near by but on a psychic level I did feel an entity surround the gazebo maybe just watching us as we were staring it down for awhile. 

We also went to another area where a building once stood down children's lane here. There was only a walkway remaining. Then eventually we spent sometime in the playground which in my opinion was very mild no bad feelings, no screams, no shadows, nothing as far as any sort of activity. The only part I felt something there was the gazebo. But really its hard to believe they tore down such a big hospital and such a beautiful playground like this now exist. You would not even know that a monolithic structure sat here.

We took some EVP at the playground then we headed on off to what I believe in the oldest oak tree in the area. It had to be a few hundred years old and its branches were almost growing on the ground as its canopy had a giant over hang. I started to climb it a little felt like I needed a tree house lol.

We sat down for awhile then some rude person in a vehicle turned around shined there headlights on us and sat there staring at us guess the moron thought we were ghost  with this being such a strange place and all.

We eventually left here and I lost my radio so I feel a little bad its like it just disappeared here did not even hear it drop. But other then that the property seemed extremely quite and nothing bad as far as feelings go.

This place is a project and we will work with it another couple times our next project here might be Ectoplasmic photos or more EVP etc but its an ongoing project. We then headed off to The Downtown Theatre.
