Old Nassau County Jailhouse

The first time we missed the building cause it blended into this neighborhood with many old historical homes. We passed by it and ended up in a freight train engine yard where Jason and I climbed on board just for fun. The ladies were calling us to hurry up cause they were anxious to find this jail which use to be abandoned till recently it became a museum.

We arrived and Jason grabbed the flag for a photo then I went around the entire jail once alone taking photos. I felt watched from the windows and on the roof was an eerie stone owl looking over the edge.

We could not explore much but the building had a W shape to it and so we went down a dark alley which had a stairwell up to the second floor. The building was not very large but there were some areas that felt odd. There is a very well known ghost story which goes to this building and perhaps that is why we investigated it so we could share its history and Haunting's.

I do not think we caught much of anything on film but I felt watched from a few of the barred upstairs windows.  If possible someday Id love to spend the night here. After the investigation I got behind the front gate bars and had Jason show me a photo of what I look like behind bars lol.

There is a lot of residual energy here and one of the last parts of the investigation I stopped at the old tree on the property where a person was hung and decapitated at. The tree was very eerie it was one of these old trees which bent in different ways was crooked and covered in moss. I could definitely feel a energy emitting from this area then we wrapped up our investigations.

Our next area we were going to visit was the Amelia Lighthouse which ended up being a failure cause the lighthouse was in a very ritzy neighborhood and sat right in the back yard of two very large homes. Its strange how one website I read stated it was a public park yet the sign on the entrance road said no entrance period. I was disappointed and we were going to hike up into it but we just decided to let it be. It seems like so many areas that once were untouched are now surrounded by houses and condos which puts a damper on things especially nosy floridians.

Anyhow after looking at the lighthouse from afar I had a stop at a very well known haunted cemetery. We parked down a side street and went to stretch our legs excited about touring the old stones when some man comes out from behind a tree. He asked me what I am doing threatening me to leave and call the cops. I told him I don't give a shit cause its not illegal to park and get out of your car. It was obvious this person was making a drug deal and he did not want anybody to see it.

He stomped on off for over a block and we got back into the car. I figured investigating the cemetery was not worth the hassle so I drove up the street turned down another and found the guy walking. I pulled along side of him said a few things I will not mention here and he started following my car on foot hahaha. I slowed down taunted him and he followed me for over a block. Eventually he picked up a stick was stumbling all over the place and stumbled when he was showing me his fist telling me he wants to spar. I gave him a friendly gesture and drove off. I think Lynda, Ariel and Jason were in shock but nobody threatens my investigators and gets away with it nor do I put up with psychos at 3 in the morning.

We moved on and decided to tour the cemetery at another time and went to the last destination which was the Annie Lytle School #4
