EVPs

To the left and the right are EVPs both taken a few hundred feet from the main entrance of the mine. Their is a collapsted room with a few tunnels which we set up the recorder at. Nobody was holding it I just left it in the room while we had some food and drank. You have to turn your volume up fairly high they are lower tone whispers.

The EVP to the left was captured on some mine cart tracks we followed. Again I am not able to make it out thought the whispered said the word darkness. But the more I listen to it the more it sounds like its saying two words. The same thing to the EVP to the right which was captured by Tammy. I went into another room to check for safety Tammy was alone in silence then all of sudden whispering appeared on the recorder from within one of the main tunnels. The whispering sounds like another language possibly latin considering the Spaniards were said to have visited Potosi in the 1700's its a possibility.

The EVP to the left is our best one from the investigation. Tammy had to use the bathroom so she sat the recorder down.You can hear me talking in the background as it echoes because I am about 10 feet from it. Tammy is only a few feet away and she was taking a bathroom break since we were deep in the mine and their are no restrooms. After she went to the bathroom and I get into talking about bathroom breaks in the weirdest of places about 4 seconds into this you will hear the word BITCH whispered. It sounds like a male nobody was even near the recorder quite strange perhaps the entities took offense to a female peeing inside the mine that is my opinion. The second EVP will take place from 3 to 5 seconds. It is a series of unknown whispers you can make us out both talking when this occurrs. This was also taken during our bathroom/drink pitstop. This area seemed to be a high area for EVPs without us even holding the recorder.

Above you can hear some whispering then you hear Tammy say you better watch your ass. This was also taken in the collapsed chamber right before we entered a series of tunnels. Nobody was whispering as you can tell by Tammy talking at a normal level. Just as when I analyzed it you can hear both of us talking normal then this whisper comes through.

Videos Of Investigation 1

The video to the left is an area we parked at in the Spring Mountains. We have a long ways to go as we hike on up to the Pinnacle....and eventually near the summit of Mount Potosi. You can see that it is snowing it does stop for awhile to warm up then as evening approaches we get hit with a storm which almost left us stranded here. The video to the right is taken below the mines. You can see to the upper left in the video the debris piles left from when it was mined. We will take an old mining road which will eventually dead end at a wash....and then will take the wash eventually cutting it to our right up the mountain. The mine sits up by the summit Potosi is one of the last great giants of the Spring Mountain Range which borders Las Vegas.

In the left video I reach the mining road which sits along the edge of a very steep incline. You can see from the mining road how high up we are. If we follow this road it will go around a bend and divert us in front of the main entrance to the mine. It actually is really the only feasible entrance in or out. At one time this road was used by ox wagons to transport the lead, silver and zinc to the mill a couple miles below. To our right the video shows the entrance to the Potosi Mine. This is what we worked so hard for all day long and we are only minutes away from entering the vast darkness that awaits. At one time the entrance had cinder blocks keeping tresspassers out but somehow people always find a way and so here we are.

In our left video I am standing at the mine entrance getting ready to exit. Minutes prior to this video I hit my head on a very low ceiling causing a concussion. I could feel internal bleeding or blood internally rushing away from the area of my head which suffered the trauma. Tammy was filming me she did cut the video short for my safety. We had a long ways back to the car their was a snow storm no way to find the trail off the mountain. Tammy was worried that if we did not get back to the car I may not have made it. After the video I ate some gummy bears they are life savers end of story. The video to the right is all dark we are in the woods still a half of mile from the car on the side of the mountain. It is snowing out their is 4 to 6 inches on the ground. Around us are cliffs....sheer drop offs and carefully we have to slide on our backs and grab whatever we could find to help us reach the bottom of the mountain. I show you rabbit tracks in the snow and in front of me is a sign with a trail leading to the road which are car is parked near.

We are off roading its dark but you can see the dashboard lights of the car. The first obsatcle overcame was the fact the car sat in this low area. We had to get the car to climb out of here roads are slick and have snow on them. Then we had to find our way out with no visibility to any of the roads. The biggest issue was trying to get the car to go up hill....the hardest issue we dealt with is losing the brakes when we reached a descent off the mountain. We have no traction, tire chains or snow tires its a rough ride. I filmed this moments after getting the car unstuck. Once a Buffalonian always a Buffalonian and we pulled it off getting out of the Potosi Mountain area.

The video to the left shows you a canyon that we will hike on up. Their is an old mining road leading into the canyon then once we are in the canyon we have to climb up to the snow region in the upper left hand corner of the video. That snowy region is where the mine is and the debris pile extracted from inside the mine. We have a long climb to go its fairly chilly it snowed over nights on various parts of Potosi. The video to the right is taken on a ledge I stood on giving you a good view of the cliffs at the base of the Potosi Summit. The cliffs within the mountain have taken so many lives including Carole Lombard's. At the base of the cliffs are various mines.....caverns and of course the Potosi Mine which we explored on our first trip here.

In the video to the left Tammy is removing large rocks from the dirt road we tried to traverse on. We wanted to take this dirt road to the mining town of Goodsprings its a back way in. I guess we bit on more then we could chew because after 5 miles the road still was not getting any better. We were in a sports car very low to the ground so we had to take it very slow it was a good attempt we did get far we didnt get stuck just wanted to take a scenic ride and possibly find some new locations to explore. The video to the right is met to be comical I was a bit distracted but notice how the camera is bouncing up and down. This part of the road is really bad deep grooves...lots of rocks etc. I had to shut it off near the end of the video when I was announcing a crash landing....you should have seen the look on Tammys fast lol. There are many dirt roads beyond Potosi some lead to other mines....while others just lead to nowhere we would eventually turn around as the skies were getting very mean looking.

Were just about to exit the Mount Potosi region from our 2nd trip. Notice how dismal and secluded the location is nothing but mountains, woods, desert and rocks surrounding us. To my right in the video is one of the many caverns surrounding Mount Potosi. Its a very interesting place full of history, tragedy and hidden gems. I was so grateful just to pull onto the main road and get out of this place. We were almost stuck up here twice so it felt good just to speed away knowing we pulled this off not once but twice in one weeks time.
