The Main St Apartments in Clarence NY are like a ghost town of the past. A little abandoned community of roughly 8-12 apartments and you can say that is what makes this place so foreboding. Going up the dark road covered by trees, brush no street lights makes this place darker then night itself. What makes this place strange is that most of the furniture still remains even some fresh carpeting but it is a given that this place is very old. As in the back is a bicycle shed with bikes that only existed 50-60 years ago. I do not know who owns them, why they are abandoned or what caused all the tenants to leave. However it obvious is a place for people to make out and party at due to some beer cans and couches set up facing each other in certain areas. You cannot help being watched seeing chairs set up gives you that feeling something is sitting in them just watching you. The back of the apartments has a nice sized suite probably where the owner of this place once lived with a nice fireplace. There are signs that probably some Magick maybe rituals took place perhaps Wiccan but its hard to say. Oddly 2 apartments are locked from the outside why these 2 I have no idea. But closing your eyes you can just imagine the children playing on the swings out back, women hanging there laundry, people sitting outside there doors in chairs and now all that remains is the ghost of the past that haunt this large abandoned place.

A member from our organization wrote me. Said she lived in apartment 8. She told me that she lived there for around 4 years and that they been abandoned for roughly 2 years. They closed because they were sold to turn it into a plaza this may be true since land next door is being cleared out. She said it was a peaceful happy place so apparently the spirits here are also most likely happy. The real named of the apartments is the Rock Garden APTS which was owned by Paul Stevens who also owns Intertech Satellite in Lockport and all the other motels in Clarence with the word rock in the name. Like Red Rock by jubilee and Rock Oak trailer park on main st. Thank you for your information Lisa.
