Long Cemetery

The trail to Long Cemetery was not to long but it twisted and turned making the burial grounds hard to see. One could easily miss the path if you were not paying attention.

As we approached the cemetery it was quite clear that the old wood fence was rotting and falling apart surrounding it.

Jason had a hard time opening up the gate and at this point this was our half way point while hiking on the Yearling Trail. We both drank ourselves a miller beer to celebrate upon finding this place. Cause a few weeks ago we actually got lost trying to locate this cemetery. Its just a feat in itself to be in this cemetery.

The cemetery was very odd all the fog we encountered stayed outside the cemetery and after about 20 minutes it rolled on in which I thought was odd. There were many patchy cold spots and Jason found a giant caterpillar near one of the stones crawling around.

I took some photos while Jason looked at some of the stones. There was an old wood cross and not many graves but the ones that were there were that of the Long Family.

I could feel a presence within the cemetery it was fairly strong and moving around as we were. I took quite a few photos we spent about a half hour listening and sitting around then we started our hike back onto the Yearling Trail.

In conclusion to our report my camera broke on the Yearling Trail so I was not able to take as many photos as I wanted perhaps just bad luck who knows. But we did locate the Long Cemetery. Very few paranormal investigators get to actually hike a couple miles in the woods and find such a hidden supernatural place like this.

I do think that the Long Family has decided to stick around the area where the raised there families and lived in seclusion. I also think much more remains hidden in these woods besides just the cemetery. Peace
