Lake Eola Historic Park

There was a pretty big event going on in downtown Orlando it was crazy the streets were blocked off there was girls holding hands with girls, people partying, lines out the doors it reminded me of NYC or Las Vegas it was traffic hour at 1am here. So it really took us a long time to get to the park including a freight train we had to wait to pass. The joys of being in the big city lol.

Eventually we were a couple blocks away from the event but still alot of people were walking near this park. Which makes it very hard to investigate with drunk giggly girls all over the place lol. But Lee and I set off into the park and when you read the history you will understand how important it is for us to investigate this place it goes beyond just a park of course.

We walked up to the amphitheatre which was outdoors and on the lake. We took a few photos then we walked to this weird stone and it had an eyeball or what looked to be embedded in it lol. We just thought it was one of those strange things within the rock perhaps.

Eventually we decided to walk the entire lake path in downtown Orlando. Along the path there was a giant rat and it seemed to careless that we were there yikes.  This place probably was like the central park of Orlando at least that is what it reminded me off. But the park was well kept lots of little docks, a playground, memorials, fountains etc

We walked along shore and I seen a giant swan. I wanted to get a photo of it so I climbed down the wall and inched up close. Well I slipped on some mud and started mud skiing towards the bird and trust me he hissed at me and that mouth was open. Luckily I stopped and did not slide any further or that beak would have been pecking at my eyeballs.

I did however get my photo the swan refused to move that was his territory. We then moved on and came across various memorials one for Ghandi quite odd. There was even fresh wreaths around some of these bronze memorials.

On our path we also noticed a grave stone in the park right along the bank of the lake. But the one thing that stood out is the amount of memorials here and plaques on rocks along the path of all these important individuals which shaped Orlando's history.

We eventually found the Orlando Monument which was one of my reasons for visiting here we read about how he was killed by an arrow at this location by a Seminole so yes we wanted to work with his ghost a little. But oddly enough there was not much of a presence in the park. You could feel something was here but I think the downtown event really lessoned our chances of hearing something here.

We did walk further down the lake seen a giant civil war monument and eventually even a gondola which we thought about taking out on the lake and making the news lol.

This park started to really become a project there was alot of sites to visit and we even played a little at the playground for awhile. Lee went on the swings then the monkey bars we had a blast. Your in the big city at 1am you myswell enjoy the ghost and festivities also.

Eventually as we kept walking around the lake we came across a pagoda which is a Chinese hut type of structure. This was my favorite site in the park.

Eventually we almost walked the entire lake but we did stop at some swans which you could climb on into. To the left a guy and girl were making out along the lake and they got caught in the act by us oops guess there were some spooks and surprises in this park afterall.

We eventually got back to our starting point and yes will work with this place more now that we got a feel for the energies and setting here. Nonetheless it was a really nice park to visit and with the rumors of its Hauntings it made it all the more interesting to uncover its secrets.

We then walked tour next locations which was the Orlando History Center.
