Hill Shady Rest Cemetery
We
had a hard time finding this place and drove around for awhile. Eventually
we did find it with my psychic cemetery sniffing skills haha. This place
really is intimidated when you drive through the gates.
We parked and walked up a road near a fence. It was quiet here most houses
were dark so the cemetery had little lighting. I did not sense much for
the longest time here. I did not even notice many old stones most were
from the 1950s, 60s and 70s. I knew why they called this Shady Rest cause
trees were extremely abundant here giving very little room for the
moonlight to shine inside.
We walked around and eventually explored a Mausoleum. I kept having this
feeling like something was going to touch us. Their was a real unexpected
feeling here every corner we turned I expected to see something as we made
our way down some long corridors. Eventually we ended up near another set
of cemetery gates made with wrought iron.
Their was a lady that came outside she was staring at me but only caught a
glimpse like a shadow I faded into the darkness. She kept staring with a
confused look on her face. I went off by myself for awhile scurrying
between the Mausoleums and dark walkways. I stood in one spot till Jasmine
and Jason found me shining my light at my face when they got a few feet
away. Yeah I know it scared the shit out of them but I must keep everybody
on their toes it comes with the job lol.
We were walking down a walkway and all of sudden around the corner we
heard a coffin in one of the vaults move. It was literally three feet away
from us. This mausoleum has vaults where the coffins slide into the walls.
What we heard sounded like something banging inside the vault as if
something was pushing up on the lid of the coffin trying to get out.
Believe me that is all I needed to hear to know that something strange is
going on here. That was real activity better then any photo could ever
produce. Hearing a coffin move in a concrete vault that high off the
ground was a real treat.
We did walk around some more I found some older stones but really the
activity was extremely low otherwise. We walked along the same road where
we first parked and got some EMF readings some in the red zone even. Then
my EMF detector stopped working. It was acting very strangely blinking,
shutting off on its own and reading high at times.
We wrapped up the investigation and headed home in hopes that a second
visit would produce more activity. But what makes this place special is I
looked at our stats and this technically would be our 500th investigation
so a great way to end the night with all this activity and reach such a
milestone.
In conclusion to our investigations it was a really goodnight. I do not
think your going to see a lot of great photos like the last couple weeks.
But we will build off of it and hopefully with time make second visits
eventually. I do think each place contains some amount of energy and its
nice to once have again a team with the help of Jasmine and Jason.
It was a long night and of course we went all out since this weekend we
will have no investigations due to me moving. I do hope on second visits
to maybe get some EVP at these sites it almost seemed like with all
the places we visited four of them were trying to tell us something.
We then headed back home and it sure was a long drive we did not get home
till like 4am but it was a great night. I believe it was the hottest night
I have investigated in so far so we all were pretty drained. When I
got home I had a nice juicy steak and shrimp lol. One of the advantage of
not being a ghost is you can come home and dine lol.
I do want to add something into the report sort of off topic. Earlier this
week a man wrote me telling me he purchased condos where people had been
murdered at. He wanted to know if I would visit his condos to cleanse them
or perhaps make some peace with the entities so the place is livable and
less of a nuisance.
I told this person that I would do it at no cost whatsoever as long as
they covered our travel cost whether its a plane, train ticket, gas
mileage, and of course room/board overnight. Well the person did not go
through with it wrote another paranormal site and they told him to sage
the place.
What you must understand is that ghost are like people. We must treat them
no different going into a place trying to burn herbs to get rid of them is
a mere myth its like garlic and vampires. Remember you get what you pay
for we are professionals and if you want something done right please do
not sit their and expect something for nothing. As much as I like to help
others people cannot expect me to travel the globe on my time and money.
I guess this sort of struck me hard cause the person wants a peaceful
residence yet came across as ignorant when I told them that these entities
need to be worked with. Flashing crosses, rosaries, holy water, burning
herbs etc is not going to rectify any situation where murders have
occurred it may even make it worst. That is why why we are Ghostbusters
cause we specialize dealing with all aspects of the paranormal and that is
what we are here for to provide you with the assistance you need.
But as the founder what I see is ALOT of folks taking advantage of us.
People do not realize the site dues we have to pay to keep it running, the
daily efforts to run these paranormal groups, the cost of film, gas, trips
etc. Most use us just to find haunted locations or they want us to do them
a service yet they will not donate or even consider covering the cost of a
4 hour trip to help them. Greed gets you nowhere trust me on this. The
work we do is like a miracle almost every place we go we get results
and that is because we are committed so please as members show your
commitment to us.

Subject: Ormond Beach Adventure Report...Weeks late, bad team member

We
had stopped at a gas station and Rick got me some water so I would shut up
lol I told him about this apartment complex across the street that had an
actual old style train in it, so we took a quick brake and checked it out,
we saw a pool there and I was pretty tempted to hop that fence and take dip.
But we soon left and started looking for the cemetery. This was a place I
knew about and remembered it seeming pretty old, its right in the middle
of a middle class neighbor hood, we drove around for a few min, and then Mr.
Psychic
found the place, We drove in and parked. This place seemed pretty creepy,
had that feeling again of being watched and un wanted. We walked around a
bit and came upon the mausoleum, This is were we got split up (of course)
Rick was off taking Pics and some lady came out on her porch and started
staring in the cemetery, we all ran off in different directions, I found
Jason but not Rick, I stuck with him and felt totally creeped out at this
point... it was very cold and gloomy in this part, I felt like at any
point something was going to jump out at us, and the something was Rick
shining his flashlight on his face lol. We were all back together and we
were standing by the end of the mausoleum when we heard a huge BANG come
form inside of the wall, it sounded like a coffin was moving or something
was trying to get out, Rick yells hello and I'm like OMG lets go! He sure
is brave, I was absolutely scared shitless at this point, I think we all
were. We walked around a bit more and took some more pic's the EMF kept
going off and started acting really weird. we pretty much got the hell out
of there soon after. I don't know what was going on in that place but it
was enough to give us all a pretty good scare. This place turned out to be
the 500th investigation (GO PGS!)
It had been a pretty long & hot night full of a lot of activity. Again
I was real happy that we got to go to places that I was so familiar with,
but we were all pretty drained from it all. I can tell you that when you
come into contact with entity's it can be completely draining at times as
they feed off of your energy. Once again Halloween is coming soon and Rick
has some pretty neat and interesting things planed, more people means
better investigations, so SIGN UP! I will be starting a new job that
actually pays some money lol so I will be getting a recorder this way we
can start to get some EVPs to add to the site. I have a small MP3 player
at this time that can record so were going to give that a try first, but I
want better then that for all of us. Voices captured
on tape are so cool, and eerie all at the same time. So for now keep your
eyes and ears open to the unknown. Till next time......
