The Hell House

We started driving down a rural road which dead ends in the woods. The road leads to a house often I like to call The Hell House cause that is what it is. The house all made of wood and falling apart was marked with occult symbols, spray paint, beer bottles all over, and it was totally falling apart. Surrounded by woods on all sides and overgrown just added to the fun.

I did not like this house it really tried to eat away at me as we seen bones near the front door step. I will say no comment about them use your imagination photos were taken. I spent time on the front porch examining what appeared to be blood stains. It was a deeper red blood puddle and then a few on the walls splattered. There was some smeared up on the front door and as we went inside bloody hand prints.

After examining a few rooms seeing the blood splattered on the blinds, walls, on the light switch etc I can only assume its someone playing a sick joke. Its Halloween and probably the locals put the bones and fake blood there to make it spooky maybe some ghost tours are given here. But every room had blood splatters and smears but the upstairs fake human blood, real human blood, animal blood, etc who knows but it just added to the eeriness.

We stood in the den I heard a noise we thought someone was hiding in the next room which turned out to be a bat. It was flying hitting things and we were ducking like crazy. Another bat was on the ceiling and I was able to touch him if I wanted to.

I think the photos of the house will speak for itself so I will not have to say much. We eventually went up the steep stairwell and upstairs was all dark stained wood rooms. With a doorway leading outside with no balcony. I hit my head on the low ceiling going upstairs the house was quite tight in some aspects.

There was also some pretty fat spiders in the house getting bit was not an option. Eventually we went downstairs out back into the growth where we found some other structures. We also found a shed with old glass bottles and a possum rummaging threw them. Oh yeah he got caught it was hilarious as he stood up about 4 feet in front of us just staring most possums run or are mean but this little guy was friendly.

I found some horse stables behind the shed that had quite a few with horses names on each gate. That is when things got real cold and I felt something out back behind the stables. It was cold and we were in the middle of the woods in this barn. I did take a break from the house and we worked on Dead Man's Oak which will be a separate report below. I was skipping around most of the night around here.

Anyhow going back to the house Jason went back in alone I stayed out front to do some frontal shot photography for the site. Their was an extremely heavy feeling of being watched from the upstairs again wait till you see the photos you will understand.

The house left me with more questions then answers and this was a real chiller. After this we did head to the Shingle Creek Plantation after we revisited the house a second time last night however before I go into that let me discuss our Dead Man's Oak investigation.
