The Genesee Duplex is very old it is one of the
only houses in the area without a storm cellar or basement. It looked like
whoever owned the place was also the caretaker of the War Of 1812 cemetery. The
duplex is mainly a ranch style home split up into 2 separate living
quarters. The main one is much larger though with a fireplace included.
What I can tell you is whoever owned this place had to own it many years
ago since the kettle on the counter, bed, and items found around were very
old. Secondly their were cages all over like this place owned a lot of
pets some cages could hold a large dog and they were on the property and
in different rooms. The place has a lot of mixed feelings and is haunted
by a ghost who moves extremely fast and does try to stay out of the
photos. The reason for me knowing this is I had to chase the entity down
to get his photograph almost in every room and in one photo the entity is
hiding like it is scared. The place is very frightening to walk around in.
It is the type of place you feel that some hermit or psycho could live in.
It is the type of place where you turn a corner and feel as if something
might be their your not supposed to see. I believe the reason for this
place being haunted is the cemetery is just a few feet feet away from the
duplex so it is very easy for the ghost to settle in comfortably here.
