Gemini Springs

We spent a long time looking for Upsula Cemetery and found instead an abandoned house which was next to a few trailers. We thought the structure was a church at first and the cemetery was behind but it turned out not to be the case. We passed on it for security reasons and I had us go to Gemini Springs instead a place I been wanting to investigate for months now. Being I am a Gemini the place fits me perfect. I heard so much about the place so it was really nice to get back in here hiking to investigate it for a nice little woods adventure.

We parked off and hiked on it their was lamp post aligning the entire concrete road as it went right into the woods for about a half of mile. We came up to an old wood cabin which was the information center and of course this is where they take your money lol. Nearby was a road that led to some barn which said caretakers house. Kind of odd maybe it use to be a caretakers house at one time.

Right away we went to the right cause we seen a sign that pointed to the springs. Their was many different sites and a lot of different trails according to the map I looked at. As we headed on off the first place we visited was Dog Shit Park and if you do not believe me go their seriously cause that is what its called. I did not step on any mud pies but the park was split up for smaller dogs and the other half for big ones. This area lay flooded and was extremely very dark.

We did not spend much time here and passed by a lit building on a private road which we also stayed away from.  We eventually ended up in the woods their were some unmarked trails. I just took us where I felt was the largest amount of energy and it paid off trust me on this. We heard this loud rumble noise a few times it turned out to be a motorcycle way off in the distance.

The trail was very well kept and their were a few good sized spiders not as many as we encountered on previous outdoor adventures.  Some of the fauna had a plaque and eventually we came out to the river. Their was some little bridges crossing over and walkways that twisted along its shore.

I seen a possum and tried chasing it lol almost caught it to get a photo those things are fast wish I had four legs lol.  We eventually crossed over a much larger wood bridge and we could hear gators out their. I did find a stone monument and a boat house. We did go out onto a fishing pier and seen a giant catfish just swimming around yummm where is a pole when you need it lol. At this point on I kept thinking about an ice cold beer and giant fish fry cause certainly ghost are not going to fill your tummy.

We then hiked down this unmarked trail it was odd but as we hiked on it their were areas that split off into different directions. We kept straight till we ran into a Debary Hall marker. If you remember months ago we did investigate Debary Hall which was a southern mansion which used the river as a way to increase their profits using steam boats. I could not believe we were only a quarter of a mile from the mansion.

The hike was rough we hit some wetlands our feet were cold and soaked. You could see the different ecosystems but really not a lot of wildlife. I expected to see some animals and instead nothing.

So yes we hiked fairly far then took another path which eventually led us into an orchard. It was a very long walk but it did lead us back to this road.

We hiked for quite a ways and came back out to a road. I eventually took us all around the caretakers house on the backside to some kind of stone/wood lodge. It may have served some purpose years ago and their was a dock. We went out onto the dock it was the springs area where you could swim. The water was in horrible shape just like the river. It was murky, lots of woods, fish, gators etc.

The dock swayed up and down as I was walking. I also heard across the springs in the woods a branch break very hard like something big was in the woods.  We then went further on to look at a bulletin board and their was this stone shelter with a counter and cupboards.

We encountered a fairly large spider almost bit Jason. I believe this was maybe a BBQ pit area or maybe fish gutting station. I am not sure but it was the picnic area and their were benches all over. We did approach a playground but it was to wet to play sorry guys lol.

After all that was said and done we came back to the road which leads out of the springs back to the car. I mean this turned out to be a pretty big area. Jasmine mentioned seeing something the one time in the flash of my camera.

I noticed more then anything that their is a lot of paranormal energy here especially on the trails. Their is a lot of cold spots, Ectoplasmic movement, curious ghost and its just overall a weird place.

We did not cover all the trails and I believe we missed a few other buildings but for the most part we spent a very long time taking photos and listening here.

I did hear something in the woods on one occasion. It sounded like maybe a groan of some kind way off in the distance. But I think more or less their is a good chance that since this was part of the Debary Plantation their probably is a lot of ghost in this area not so much skunk apes or other creatures.

It was a tiring hike back to the car with our wet feet and the place did seem gloomy. Their is a lot of mixed feelings I have here although its very very relaxing I was very drained. Their was a lot of entities walking with us here and they were curious all I can say is the photos speak for itself on this investigation.

I am sure that a second visit we will uncover a lot more here and so we exited the park with ease. Jasmine mentioned feeling as if we were followed at times I felt like something was lagging behind us. When we exited the park we seen up on a hill a giant plane up on a tower so we decided to check it out.

We headed off to find another cemetery this time in Debary, but never found the place, but we came across Gemini springs, the park was of course closed as it was about 1 am, we parked off the road and went in, it was a very strange place, but I don't like bugs or gator's so I was more afraid of being killed by a wild boar or gator or all the spiders, we walked and walked and walked, took a trail that went threw the entire park it was long! and gross! (I'm a woman and a city girl so please allow me to complain lol)

There was a major cold spot, a lot of noise in the woods, and just an eerie feeling, I felt watched the entire time I did not like it there and I was soooooooooo happy to finally get out of there about 2 hours later. My feet were drenched my pants covered in mud and I had maybe a pint of blood left from all the mosquitoes, not my cup of tea.

Rick felt many things there, but again I felt my senses were off do to my own fear of nature. I did however feel a very strong hot spot and presence upon looking around there was actually what appeared to be a Indian weapon of some type like an axe and arrow head that was placed into cement on a bridge, there was a lot of energy coming from this area. Other then that I was more afraid of a UFO encounter lol
