The Eating Fields are a large area of woods and a rifle range. There are trails behind the rifle range, ponds, and fields. I do not have alot of history on the area this was actually something I did with Jim since he helps me when I go to PA with our investigations I wanted to return the favor and go geocaching with him. This was my first registered geocache although I have helped find others.

There was a nice group for this and it was a pretty nice hike up in the woods. I do not think any animals would be crazy enough to roam this area with all the target practice that goes on but their is a dismal feeling back in these woods.

From what I read alot of people go back here and get scared. Not sure if they are scared of our little friend see below or the area itself. But its called the Eating Fields for a reason just keep this in mind.
