The Drawdy Rouse Cemetery sits across from a small lake and sparsely populated road where only a few houses surround this wooded area where the cemetery stands. It was erected in the mid 1800s for these two families which obviously were significant to the area at one point in time. Many of there family plots can be seen row after row within the cemetery. But it seems other burials might contain family members of other names maybe they are son in laws, sister in laws or those married into the family. But nonetheless it has a very nice pioneer feeling to it as many trees canopy over the gravestones. A  house also sits further back behind the cemetery and looks fairly new but despite that this place seems to get quite a few visitors from other ghost groups and those that visit cemeteries just to party hence the fact we found beer bottles behind the old wood shed here.

There is a giant stone and it looks fairly new here that says Drawdy Rouse Cemetery it perhaps its a big stand out upon entering the cemeteries gates. It really has a nice warm feeling here I even posed by one of the gravestones as you can see below. Alot of other groups who have done this place say its evil, hostile, dangerous etc etc but in fact I found it to be the opposite. If you want to go to a hostile cemetery visit Goodleburg in NY or Lake Diaz Cemetery out near DeLeon Springs. The point is that it is what it is a small family cemetery on a peaceful road. I guess it just upsets me when you read about how some place is bad because they see an eerie tree or a ghost. Seeing an entity or ghost does not make a place evil; many ghost perhaps try to communicate with us for various reasons and that is what makes a place beautiful is that the entities are very responsive to your investigations.

But anyways the legend goes as this that the cemetery and woods are haunted by the ghost of Benjamin Miles who is often seen in his work clothes. They say he is buried in the cemetery and his stone is unmarked an very angry. Some say that after an owl is heard his presence will then appear as a shadowy figure. Some say that his ghost is seen across the street from the cemetery as well. They say that you will feel really chilly as he is nearby. How true this legend is its hard to say this is the type of cemetery I would go alone at and sit down on a stone just talking to various entities. I do not think its the ghost to worry about here but maybe the punks who try to hang out for a thrill here.

As you can see from our first investigation here we did not really capture much of anything perhaps because its one of these types of places where the ghost are cautious perhaps because so many visit here. But perhaps a second visit will increase activity here that is the type of place it is where the entities perhaps do not trust others since its a private family cemetery. We do hope in the future to work with it more and bring you some nice Ectoplasmic photos from here eventually.
