District 13 School is a quaint little school out in the country. During the day this place looks eerie and at night it looks like a little fortress sitting in the dark. I have wanted to investigate this place for awhile and yes their are plenty of ghost that roam its halls. I had a friend that went to this school as a child. The reason for its closing was poor electrical wiring and cockroaches so the town shut it down. But based on the condition this school is in it makes you wonder at times if the place has been closed a lot longer then 20 years. The roof is leaking in most areas, the stairs creak, all the floors are buckling, holes are in the wall. Although it does not look like any vandalism occurred here but the weather has had its toll inside which is odd. We were able to explore everything inside but the principals office was locked tightly down. I mean as you walked through different classrooms you could once feel the energy that existed here. You could feel kids playing in paint, sitting in a circle singing, playing and enjoying a school day. But now the place is just a remnant of the past. Despite the school has gone downhill in every aspect and was closed the ghost still remain here perhaps because it is a peaceful place and once stood for a happy place for children to look out a window and watch it snow or play child games in their classroom.
