The first burial in Detwiler Cemetery was Roderick B Douglass who was buried here in 1906 then in 1911 one more followed by a few more in the 1920s. Over the years many families were buried here totally over twenty graves and the latest burial took place in 1970. The cemetery at one time was called Coronado Beach Cemetery and the park was granted to the city by Hannah Detwiler Bonnie which is technically right in the middle of the cemetery.

One grave here said faithful to her husband even to death. Then another one said Thou Lost Sight To Memory Dear. Its not an eerie place the stones are vandalized caused by many children who play on them. The park has a few benches, a ball court, and playground area. Its not very large.

This was meant to be a fun investigation I am sure some energy is present.
