DeLand Municipal Airport & Aero-park

This was quite an extensive investigation because we had to drive all over it was stop and go. Stop to take photos then go elsewhere to walk around. Right away we seemed to have gotten lost just riding around.

The first place we passed by was a pub near the runway although it was packed we stopped further up the road and I took some photos of the planes although they did not come out I was pretty amazed how big some private jets were.

Then Lee and I visited a place called Sky Dive DeLand an area known for thrill seekers to visit here and skydive.  We walked in back of the building and behind a restaurant called the perfect spot which is pretty well known in the area. The lights were still on and the fog on the airfield made visibility from poor to almost none.

We then went to the front took some photos seen a janitor cleaning up inside so we decided to head on towards the back again. Lee and I walked out to the runway it felt kind of odd walking out onto a airplane runway lol. But we decided to head back when there were tents nearby. I believe they allow camping here for parachuter's so after seeing over 5 tents I did not want to disturb them with my flash.

We got back in the vehicle and Lee drove around some more. Along a quiet road I noticed a dirt road going off into the woods. So we decided to take it and if there is anything strange in this area this road was the goldmine of the strange.

We took it slowly and the further back we went the stranger it became. There was a mattress, chairs, fridge and other strange things. We kept going and eventually I shined my light and saw a giant pit in front of us or rather pond. But it had a drop off so if we went to far we would have went right on in.

Lee stopped right near the edge then we got out of the car to walk the road. This place had a very unwelcoming feeling and yes something was out there. Although it was quiet I felt as if something sinister was just staring at us the whole time it was cold and at anytime I felt like we may run into something.

We walked up the road then back to the vehicle. I told Lee if there was a boogeyman this would be the place. It was obvious that this secluded place was not a place of kind occurrences but rather parties and perhaps even murders at one time.

We then headed on off down some more roads and ended up on a dead end road with tons of woods on both sides. We parked and started to walk. We found a strange old metal building, an ammunitions bunker, and a shooting range.

We studied the old building it was falling apart but locked up well I know it was from the early 1940s during WWII since it sat near the ammunitions bunker.

We studied the bunker as it was embedded in the ground with many trees growing on top of it and along side of this very long structure. Then Lee and I started walking along the bunker to see how far it went back into the woods and into the hillside.

We walked into the woods for a long ways and I would say this bunker was easily four tractor trailer lengths. So we climbed up the hill and were on top of the bunker. It was slippery, steep and wet so we had to be real careful.

We smelled an odd odor like electrical burning coming from the ground below us which was odd. I do not think the bunker or bomb shelter was in use but perhaps they were still storing something odd here.

We then walked down on the other side of the bunker I slipped down the steep side a little and we ended up in a large open area which was the DeLand Police Shooting Range. This place was a mess tin roof all over, junk, bullet shells and caps.

I felt like a sitting duck in the middle of this place and I mentioned to Lee feeling a non threatening type of presence which was following us around. I do not think at any moment that we were not followed after all it was very dark, woodsy and this was the oldest area of the airport.

We looked inside some of the buildings shining our lights in the windows and it seems as if the shooting range was no longer in use as everything around here was broke even the pipes which held up the targets. Then a vehicle came up the road and turned around in the shooting range driveway Lee and I ran for cover since nobody at that time should be back here. Then the person spun there tires and drove off.

We then got on out of the this area climbing the steep hill where the bunker is built into and back onto the road. This area is strange and I did have a tip off months ago from someone who told me about this place so I was happy we were able to find it and hike around.

Eventually we drove down some roads and ended up parking near a hangar. Near the hanger is a place called Enterprise Park. Which is also part of the airport so I will not include it separately.

The hangar reminded me of something you would see at area 51 all white and very long with doors on both sides. We walked around the park took a few photos and it seemed pretty quiet here. A car came by Lee jumped in a bush and I was trying to hide in some nets and yes Lee got my photo lol.

We walked around the park and it was pretty mellow or a calmer compared to the bunker out in the woods or the spooky road. We took a few photos then we closed the investigation of the airport.

Later after the investigation Lee and I were driving when his vehicle died out. I figured he may have ran out of gas since it sputtered and then would not start up. We had a sheriff help us push when a tractor trailer was speeding around a bend head on. I was pretty close to just bailing out but the truck stopped last minute talk about an adrenaline rush hell that was the highlight of the night.

Then Lee's trunk slammed on his face as the rod holding it up snapped off quite odd I would say never seen anything like that happen. Eventually we ended up hiking to a gas station and on my way I found another area to investigate eventually which looks really interesting.

Anyhow we filled up the gas can thanks to a clerk loaning us a couple bucks and it worked we were able to get home safely. So definitely alot of adventure and oddities occurring that night.

In conclusion to the report we hope to work more with the Aero park more I mean based on what people have told me alot of strange things happen up here ghostly and UFO wise. There is just so much to explore as far as roads and hangars go so hopefully perhaps next year when we get a night with no fog we will be able to be a little more extensive into investigating deeper into the mysteries and strange that goes on here.
Peace,
Rick

Now all the speckles that you see below are moisture droplets from the fog so first and foremost do not credit them to supernatural anomalies. However within the fog you can clearly see a solid Ectoplasmic energy mist. Some of the mist is stronger in some photos then others but it is there.  I am sure if the fog was not enveloping the area there would be some faces within the Ecto but since there is so many all we can do is speculate that the entities were trying to manifest but were not able to define themselves due to the heavy fog. The following photos were taken at enterprise park, an abandoned road, the shooting range, munitions bunker, and near the perfect spot which are all within the airport property.
